。Although not shown in the drawings, when the covered fiber mat is transported or installed, it is used to prevent the mat from falling out of the bag-like body formed by the plastic film that is the outer covering material and the lower sheet-like material. And in order to make the lower sheet material waterproof, asphalt is applied to the entire surface of the lower sheet material.

The asphalt 7 flows out from the edge and contaminates the manufacturing equipment, and also adheres to the outer surface of the plastic film, making it extremely difficult to perform construction work.

It has the disadvantage that peeling occurs from parts and the mat is easily exposed.

点を有している。As described above, these coated fiber mats tend to have the outer covering material peeling off from the edges, resulting in the mat being exposed or the adhesive flowing out and becoming sticky, or the outer covering material or the lower sheet material easily peeling off the mat. It has drawbacks such as the fact that the adhesive tends to stick to the presser roll during the coating process in which the surface material and the lower sheet material are bonded together.

It has the disadvantage of making workability worse when handling the mat.

マットの製造方法に関する新たなる提案である。That is, the present invention covers the top surface and both sides of the inorganic fiber mat with a surface material without adhering the surface material to the inorganic fiber mat, and folds the ends of this surface material to the bottom surface of the mat. This is a new proposal regarding a method for manufacturing an inorganic fiber mat coated with a surface material, which is characterized in that the material is pressure-adhered to a lower sheet-like material coated with an adhesive.

An upper plastic film 12, which is a surface material, is folded over the upper surface, side surfaces, and both sides of the lower surface of 1, and a lower sheet-like material 14, which is coated with asphalt 15 on the entire surface except for the vicinity of both ends in the width direction. An example is shown in which the layers are laminated and bonded under pressure using a roll.

等の効果を有する。In this way, in the present invention, the surface material and the glass wool are firmly adhered to the lower sheet-like material, so peeling from the edges is less likely to occur compared to conventional products, and the roll does not come into contact with the asphalt coated surface. Since there is no oxidation, there is less contamination during manufacturing and the restoring force is greater.

。In addition, in the case of Fig. 3, it is also possible to apply asphalt except for the vicinity of both ends in the width direction of the lower sheet-like object, so that when the film is pressurized, the asphalt will not be pushed out from the edges of the film. , contamination during manufacturing can be further reduced.
