Conventionally, in open type cut-out switches in which the lower part of the fuse cylinder is rotatably attached to the lower part of the main body insulator, the fuse is installed to insulate and shield the live parts exposed to the outside, such as the electrodes on the upper and lower parts of the fuse cylinder. After the cylinder is assembled, it is common to attach a highly insulating protective cover made of rubber or resin to the live part.

However, the above-mentioned conventional installation work is not only time-consuming because it is done after the fuse tube has been assembled, but also the fuse tube cannot rotate once the cover is attached, so the protective cover must be removed one by one when opening and closing operations. There was a flaw.

The purpose of this invention is to eliminate the above-mentioned conventional defects and to use a current-limiting fuse instead of a discharge type fuse, and to make it possible to easily attach the protective cover for the live parts, so that the current-limiting fuse can be used even with the protective cover attached. It is an object of the present invention to provide a protective cover mounting structure that allows replacement of fuses and opening/closing operations.

By the way, when an excessive current flows in the electrical circuit due to an overload or short circuit, the current limiting fuse F is blown and the electrical circuit is opened. After releasing the connecting pin 34, insert the connecting pin 34 into the support recess 25a of the support fitting 25 (the recess 3 of the connecting pin 36).
6a), then remove both the upper and lower adapter electrodes 42.29 from the current limiting fuse, replace the current limiting fuse, attach the adapter electrode 42.29 again, and then fit it into the support recess 25a of the support fitting 25. The connecting pin 34 may be engaged with the recess 36a of the connecting pin 36.

Now, according to the above-mentioned cutout switch, it is possible to switch on and off the load, and even if an abnormal current flows due to an accident, it is possible to cut off the electric circuit and prevent damage to the equipment. , a pair of support fittings 25 are arranged diagonally downward in the hollow portion A' at the tip of the lower support insulator 5, and a support recess 25 is provided at the top of the tip of both fittings 25.
A is formed with a notch, and the lower electrode 27 of the current-limiting fuse F is
A lower adapter electrode 29 is removably fixed to the lower adapter electrode 29, and a semi-cylindrical connecting pin 34 corresponding to the support recess 25a is provided protruding from both sides of the adapter electrode 29. A cover 35 that protects the adapter electrode 29 is removably attached and unrotatably attached by a connecting pin 35 fitted to the pin 34, and the protective cover 35 is assembled to the cut-out switch of the current-limiting fuse F. Since it is constructed so that they can be installed at the same time, unlike the conventional method, the troublesome work of installing the fuse after installation is eliminated, and installation can be made very easily.

As detailed above, the present invention has a protective cover covering the outside of the lower adapter electrode that can be removed from the notch surface of the connecting pin of the lower adapter electrode so as to follow the opening and closing operations of the insulating tube. By providing a notched cylindrical shape with a recess that is non-rotatably engaged and a connecting pin, which is hung on the lower adapter electrode, the protective cover can be attached and detached from the current limiting fuse live part extremely easily. This also has the effect of eliminating the troublesome work of removing the current limiting fuses one by one when opening and closing them.
