Abstract

PURPOSE:To call out a desired party, by controlling the mutual connection between incoming subscriber lines and terminals and avoiding useless waiting time, through the discrimination of the propriety of the response for an incoming call with a reception output of a callout signal added with incoming terminal designation information and a vacant/busy detection output of accommodated terminals. CONSTITUTION:A subscriber line 11 is connected to one terminal of a private branch of exchanger 1, and a telephone terminal 8, a simple data terminal 9, and a facsimile terminal 10 are accommodated to the other terminals, and the line 11 and the terminals 8-10 are mutually connected with a channel switch 7. The line 11 is normally connected with a callout signal reception circuit 2 and the callout signal received at this circuit 2 is applied to a control circuit 4 and a response discrimination circuit 5. A detection signal from a terminal vacant/busy detection circuit 3 at the terminals 8-10 is normally applied to the circuits 4 and 5. When the callout signal added with incoming call terminal designating information is detected at the circuit 2, the propriety of the incoming response is discriminated at the circuit 5 with the output and the vacant/ busy detection output of the circuit 3, the output of the circuit 5 controls the circuit 7 and connects the line 11 with the desired terminals 8-11.

In conventional private branch exchange equipment and key telephone equipment, subscriber II (
When a call came in from a central office line, the caller would first answer the call from the operator's stand or from the telephone set, and then call the desired person or person. This incoming call response method has drawbacks, such as the troublesome call transfer operations on the terminating side, and the burden of call charges during the waiting time on the calling side. Furthermore, when a 7-axis terminal other than a telephone terminal or a simple data terminal is connected to the same subscriber line as the telephone terminal, it is difficult to realize an automatic selection function of a terminal suitable for an incoming call.

In order to eliminate the shortcomings of this inventor, the unspecified information of the called terminal sent from the public overconfidence line is added to receive the nine ringing signal, and the incoming call is determined by the output of this signal and the output of detecting the blockage of the accommodating terminal. By determining whether a response is possible or not, and controlling the closing of the communication path switch circuit for interconnecting the incoming subscriber line, the terminal, and the terminal based on the result, terminal designation that eliminates the need for call forwarding operations is possible. It provides an incoming call answering device.

FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of the present invention, in which a switching device 1 is installed, for example, in a subscriber's premises, and connects one or more subscriber lines 11 of a public communication network with a telephone terminal 8, a simple data terminal 9, a facsimile terminal, etc. A plurality of terminals are accommodated therein, and the communication path switch circuit 7 interconnects any of these subscriber lines 11 with any terminal. When no communication is taking place, the communication lines between the subscriber line 11 and the terminals 8 to 10 are kept open by the communication path switch circuit 7. Subscriber s! A calling signal receiving circuit 2 is always connected to 11, detects all the calling signals, and transmits information regarding the calling to the control circuit 4 and response judgment circuit 5. On the other hand, the terminal idle detection circuit 3 is always connected to the terminals 8 to 100 communication lines, and the terminal idle detection circuit 3 monitors the status of the communication lines of the terminals 8 to 10 and sends information regarding the terminal idle to the control circuit. 4 and the response judgment circuit 5. The control circuit 4 controls the connection of the communication path in the communication path switch circuit 7 and also controls the switching device IK.
Control each circuit included. The terminal paging circuit sFi control circuit 4 sends a paging signal to the terminals 8 to I in response to an instruction from the control circuit 4.

At all times (step 81), the state is in the waiting state for a calling signal.
When a paging signal arrives at one of the subscribers 1111, the paging signal circuit 2 receives it in step S and notifies the control circuit 4 of the number of the subscriber line to which the call is received, and also sends terminal designation information in step Sm. It is determined whether the call signal 15 is of the format shown in FIG.

When the calling signal 15 is received, the terminal designation code is also transmitted from the calling signal receiving circuit 2 to the response determining circuit 5. Response determination path 5 follows the information regarding the presence or absence of terminal designation received from the calling signal receiving circuit 2, and if there is no terminal designation, it is determined that it is a telephone call and moves to step Sg, where the telephone terminal obtained from the terminal occupancy detection circuit 3 is detected. 8, if the terminal is vacant, the process moves to step S., and the control circuit 4 is instructed to operate the terminal calling circuit 6. When the call terminal 8 performs a response operation (for example, going off-hook) to the ring tone sent from the terminal paging circuit 6, the terminal monitoring the call line? !
An output indicating that the terminal 8 is busy is obtained from the main detection circuit 3 and inputted to the control circuit 4 (step S). The terminal 8 is instructed to interconnect the subscriber line and the terminal 8.

When the communication path connection is completed, the subscriber line remains in the communication state. If the telephone terminal 8 is busy before the call is made in step Sg, or if there is no response even if the call circuit 6 makes a call in step Sg, the call path switch circuit 7
The interconnection is not performed at step f3m), and the paging signal reception state is continued.

On the other hand, when a calling signal 15 with a terminal specification is received, the response judgment circuit 5 identifies the called terminal from the nine-end unspecified code received from the calling signal receiving circuit 2 in step S4, and accordingly steps Ss and Ss , Ss・O either Kllri,
This identification is compared with the terminal occupancy information received from the terminal occupancy detection circuit 3, and if it is determined that the designated terminal can respond, the terminal is sent to the control circuit 4 in step g@, 3mm or 81m. The system instructs the calling circuit 6 to operate, and calls nine designated terminals from among the terminals 8 to 100. Step S

If the called terminal responds at 3ta or 814, it is detected by the terminal blockage detection circuit 3 and the control circuit 4 is notified, and the control circuit 4 controls the communication path switch circuit 7 in step Ss to detect the call from the called subscriber. A communication path is established between the line and the designated terminal, and the incoming call response operation is completed and communication becomes possible. If the designated terminal is blocked in steps S and St, and if the designated terminal cannot respond in steps 3ss and St4, the call path is not connected at the call path switch circuit 7 and the process returns to step Sg. Continued.

In the example explained above, there is one terminal for each type of terminal, but if there are multiple telephone terminals, for example, it is possible to assign an extension number to each terminal and add this to the called end unspecified information of the calling signal. Then, it is possible to individually designate and call a telephone terminal, and this can be realized using a configuration similar to that of the embodiment described above. In addition to the control circuit 4, the functions of the calling signal receiving circuit 2, the terminal idle detection circuit 3, the response determining circuit 5, etc. can be achieved using a so-called microcomputer.

As described above, according to the present invention, the terminal side checks whether or not the designated terminal can respond according to the called terminal unspecified information included in the paging signal, and if the terminal is in a state where it can respond, the terminal is called, and the paging signal arrives. Since the ringing state continues until the time of answering the call, the caller who has not specified the called party can quickly and reliably call the desired party or device. Not only does this eliminate unnecessary waiting time, but it also reduces the burden of call charges during that time. Further, there is an advantage that the user on the receiving side is freed from the hassle of responding to an incoming call and transferring the incoming call to a destination terminal.
