On the other hand, as a solution to the above-mentioned drawbacks of wooden shelves,
Some shelves are made of metal, but since the surface of these metal shelves is smooth, the pots can easily slip, and on sunny days, the temperature of the shelves can become too high due to the heat of the sun. There were problems such as having a negative impact on plants, etc.

The present invention was devised to solve the above-mentioned drawbacks of the prior art.The shelf board body is formed of a polystyrene foam plate, a groove is bored in the longitudinal direction of the shelf board, and a drainage hole is formed at the bottom of the groove. By opening the container, it improves drainage and ventilation, prevents root rot of plants in flower pots, is lightweight and easy to carry, and does not cause bulk on the shelves.
The surface of the shelf has a non-slip surface, so you can stably place flower pots, etc., and the temperature of the shelf will not rise even under the scorching sun (in addition, it is inexpensive and colorful. To provide a horticultural shelf board which can easily obtain a beautiful appearance and has good drainage and ventilation.

However, it is not necessarily an essential component that the upper surface of the reinforcing edge 8 is higher than the upper surface of the shelf body 5a, and for example, as shown in FIG. The reinforcing edge 8 is fitted onto the shelf body 5a by forming a tenon-like protrusion 10 and fitting the tenon-like protrusion 10 into the groove 9, so that the upper surface of the reinforcing edge 8 and the upper surface of the shelf body 5a are flush with each other. Even if configured to be one, the flowerpot B is stably placed and there is no risk of it slipping down due to the roughness of the surface of the Styrofoam shelf body 5a.

In addition, this polystyrene foam board is lightweight and easy to handle, and can withstand severe outdoor climate changes throughout the seasons, and like wooden boards, it does not warp due to moisture penetration or the repeated strength and weakness of solar energy.
No corrosion, insect damage, or other deterioration of board quality will occur.
