Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to continually control a flow amount at a fixed value without the need of hands, by controlling the flow amount of paint to be fed out to the head of a flow coater with increase or decrease the rotation number of a motor for a circulating pump. CONSTITUTION:Paint is fed out from a paint tank 12 to the head 3 of a flow coater by circulating pump 2, and the flow amount of the fed-out paint is measured by a flow meter 5 and fed out as an analog voltage value to a comparing part 6. The comparing part 6 compares said measured value with a preset reference value in a comparator 21 and controls the rotation number of a motor 1 for the circulating pump 2 on the basis of the comparison result at a controlling part 7 into which a comparing signal P is inputted. When the measured value is larger than the preset one, the rotation number of the motor 1 is decreased. When the measured value becomes smaller than the preset one because of the resistance of a coupling pipe, the plugging a filter 16, etc., the rotation number of the motor 1 is increased.

Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は流量自動制御装置を有するカーテン式フ0−コ
ーター塗装機Kl!するものである。従来例を第1図に
示す。すなわち、芒−夕fllにより駆動される循環ポ
ンプ(2)にてフローコーターヘッド(3)に塗料を送
出し、フローコーターヘッド(3)より塗料を所謂カー
テン弐に流下してフローコーターヘッド(3)の下方に
て移送される被塗物(4)に塗料を塗布するものである
。この従来例にあって被塗物(4)への塗布量をコント
0−1bするためKFi、たとえばストップウォッチ(
91で計量時間を測定しながら計量カップ18)に溜る
塗料の量を測定する、いわゆる容量法と、疑似被塗物で
ある鉄板α…に塗料を塗布し塗布前後の重量を秤りで測
定する、いわゆる重量法とがあり、いずれの場合も計測
を人手で行々い循環ポンプ(2)から送出される塗料の
流量調整を流量調整弁(11)を調整することにより行
なっていた。しかし乍ら、この従来例にあっては流量計
測に人手を要する上に流量調整精賓が悪く、常に安定し
た塗布流量が得られないというx点があった。・ 本発明は上述の点Kllみ、塗布流量を自由調整するこ
とにより人手を要することなく流量調整精度が向上し、
常に安定した塗布流量が得られるフローコーター塗装榛
を提供することを目的とする本発明を図示実施例に基づ
き詳述する。本発明の70−コーター塗装横は、℃−夕
(1)により駆動される循環ポンプ(2)にてフローコ
ーターヘッド(3)に塗料を送出し、フローコーターヘ
ッドts+の下方にて移送される被塗物(4)に塗料を
塗布するようKしたフローコーター塗装横において、循
環ポンプ(2)からフローコーターヘッド(3)に送出
される塗料の流量を測定する流量計tI)を設け、上記
流量計is)の測定値と予め設定された流量の設定値を
比較して比較信号(F)を出力する比較部telを設け
て、この比較信号(ト)を峻出して測定値が設定値より
