。That is, in methods (a) and (c), trouble often occurs when opening the tap hole, and there is no specific method for dealing with this problem. That is, 1. When problems such as "cut holes" or "walls of hot water" occur, methods must be taken to restore the tapping condition, such as drilling the holes with an oxygen nozzle or sequentially driving round steel bars. However, the tapping operation becomes extremely troublesome and requires a large amount of materials.

Accidents of melting and damage to the taphole drilling machine may occur. Also,
Even if it does not lead to a meltdown accident, the functionality of the taphole opening machine deteriorates due to the radiant heat from the tap runner, increasing the frequency of repairs.

The drilling machine 8 is a round steel bar 2
It is preferable to retreat to a predetermined standby position as quickly as possible after the insertion.

The outer end of the round steel bar 2 and the drifter 5 are set in advance, and at the start of tapping work, the taphole opening machine 8 is set close to the tapping lower, and then the two are connected by a connecting means such as a checker 7. Connect and unite,
The drifter 5 is moved backward, the round steel bar 5 is pulled out, and the iron is tapped.

る。(c) The process of drilling the tap hole becomes extremely simple, making it possible to save labor, significantly reduce the amount of materials used for tapping (cross bits, hollow irons, oxygen pipes, round steel bars, etc.), and improve the tapping time rate. As described above, in the blast furnace taphole opening method according to the present invention, only the vicinity of the inner end surface of the mud 1 is closed immediately after the taphole is clogged by the mud. The mud gun is removed in the fired state, the round steel bar 2 is inserted into the mud 1 by the taphole opening machine 8, the taphole opening machine 3 is evacuated, and only the round steel bar 2 is left in the mud 1. After the mud 1 is fired and hardened, the round steel bar 2 is pulled out and a hole is opened for the taphole when necessary. It is characterized by immediately retracting the taphole opening machine 3 to a predetermined position, and then engaging one end of a predetermined jig 4 with the outer end of the round steel bar 2 inserted into the mud 1 of the tap lower. The other end of the jig 4 is connected to a tap hole opening machine, the inserted round steel bar 2 and the tap hole opening machine 8 are integrated, and the round steel bar 2 is pulled out and tapped. And it's very useful.
