Until now, various chemical insecticides have been searched for and used to control these insects, but many of the conventional ones have toxic atomic groups in their chemical structure, making it difficult to target them. The problem is that it is toxic not only to pests, but also to a wide range of biological species, including people, animals, fish, shellfish, and birds.

The present inventor completely changed his perspective and searched a wide range of chemical insecticides without being limited by the chemical structures of conventional chemical insecticides. As a result, he unexpectedly discovered that they do not possess any toxic atomic groups. compound, i.e., general formula, R1-0-C-CH-
The compound represented by CH2-C-0-R20503M O (wherein R1 and R2 are alkyl groups having 5 or more carbon atoms, and M is sodium, potassium, ammonium, or amine) is used to target oils that are pests. It was discovered that the present invention has a selective and strong controlling effect on insects such as lice, lice, mites, etc., and the present invention has now been completed.

The compound represented by the above general formula is already known, but
It has not been reported in any previous literature that they have an excellent control effect against the pests listed above, and particularly when R1 and R2 in the above general formula are alkyl groups having 5 or more carbon atoms, the control effect is remarkable. The present inventor discovered for the first time that it has efficacy.

The spray is applied to areas that are infested with these pests or are thought to be infested.
When preparing a diluent, water may be added directly to the compound to dilute it, but water, alcohol (e.g., methanol, ethanol, impropatol, ethylene glycol, etc.), ketones (e.g., acetone, methyl ethyl ketone, etc.) , ethers (e.g., dioxane, tetranohydrofuran, etc.), aliphatic hydrocarbons, aromatic hydrocarbons, esters (e.g., ethyl acetate, etc.) and then added to a large amount of water. However, it is also convenient to stir and dilute to a predetermined concentration.
