【発明の詳細な説明】
ダイアモンドの品質は、一般にキズ（内包物）、色（カ
ラー）、カット（形状）、カラット（重さ、大きさ）等
の具合いによって評価される。

一定の基準に基づいて公、私的に行われていることは周
知のとおりである。

ところでダイアモンドの色（カラー）は、無色透明のも
のから黄色、時には褐色をおびている場合のものが多い
。そしてこの色具合いはダイアモンドの品質評価上、前
記の如く、亀わめて重要な要素であることから、その色
具合いの鑑別は極めて過圧なものでなければならない。

ラー・グレーディング）ｔ−設定し、その色等級に相当
した天然ダイアモンド會基準石に用いて一般ダイアモン
ドの色等級１ｆｔ＠別している。

る２３段階の等級を設定している。そして最上位のＤカ
ラーは完全無色透明のもので以下順次黄色味が目立つほ
ど色が悪いとされている。そして一般ダイアモンドの色
等級鑑別に当りては、あらかじめこれら色等級の判然と
している例え［Ｆ、 Ｑ、 Ｈ，Ｉ、 Ｊ。
