Claims (2)
端部外周を取り囲む端部緩衝材を、支持板と触媒担体と
の間に介在させて触媒担体を支持゛ し、触媒担体の外
周部を取り囲む外周緩衝材を、外筒と触媒担体との間に
介在させて触媒担体を保持して外筒内に触媒担体を内蔵
した触媒コンバータにおいて、上記支持板の少なくとも
前方側支持板を、外筒の端部を包囲するコ字状部を一体
に有する環状の支持板とし、これを例外筒と共に全周溶
接で外筒に溶接固定したことを特徴とする触媒コンバー
