[Detailed Description of the Invention] The present invention relates to a refrigerator that is improved so that a single pipe can serve as both the drainage pipe and the ventilation pipe of the freezer compartment.

In conventional refrigerators, as shown in Fig. 1, in addition to the drainage pipe for discharging defrosting water from the freezer compartment a, there is also a drain pipe to prevent the negative pressure phenomenon that occurs when outside air that enters the freezer compartment a is cooled. A ventilation conduit C is provided for this purpose.

The reason for this is that since the inlet d of the drainage pipe opens upward, the defrost water freezes around the entire opening edge and is easily blocked by the ice, making the drainage pipe the ventilation pipe. This is because it cannot be used for both.

However, it is unreasonable to provide two lines of pipes to communicate the freezer compartment a and the refrigerator compartment e, and there is a problem that the number of parts increases, leading to an increase in manufacturing costs.

Moreover, the air in the refrigerator compartment e is passed through the ventilation pipe C to the freezer compartment a.
This tends to cause a convection phenomenon in which the ice enters the inside of the refrigerator compartment and returns to the refrigerator compartment e through the drain pipe, which increases the amount of frost in the freezer compartment a and causes a rise in the temperature of the freezer compartment a. Therefore, the purpose of the present invention is to make it possible to use a single pipe as both a drainage channel and a ventilation channel, thereby reducing manufacturing costs and preventing warm air from entering the freezing chamber due to convection as much as possible. To provide a refrigerator in which the pipes are not blocked by freezing of the defrosting water even with this method.

Reference numeral 12 denotes a synthetic resin body whose lower end opening faces into the refrigerator compartment 5. This body 12 and the guide pipe 11 are connected by a metal pipe 13 made of aluminum or the like, thereby forming a concave chamber 9. Conduit pipe 11. Reference numeral 18 denotes a substantially V-shaped spacer integrally formed on the inner surface of the back plate 7 near the upper part of the concave chamber 9. By the way, the end of the communicating pipe 4 on the side of the freezer compartment 2, that is, the concave chamber 9, is opened to the freezer compartment 2 at the back plate 7 and is oriented in a substantially horizontal direction. Bottom surface 3a
The rear end edge is fitted into the fitting part 8 of the back plate 7 and forms the lower edge of the opening of the recessed chamber 9.

Therefore, the bottom surface 3a is flush with the lower edge of the opening of the concave chamber 9, and when the freezer compartment cooler 3 is defrosted, the defrosting water flows onto the bottom surface 3a and flows smoothly into the communication pipe 14. Then, the water drips from the communication pipe 14 into a water receiving gutter (not shown) provided in the refrigerator compartment 5.

Furthermore, since the bottom surface 3a of the freezer compartment cooler 3 forms only the lower edge of the opening periphery of the recessed chamber 9, the frozen portion of the defrosting water is applied only to the lower edge of the opening periphery of the recessed chamber 9. Since the ice remains in place, there is no risk that the opening of the recessed chamber 9 will be blocked by ice.
In addition, the ice that grows toward the conduit pipe 11 and metal pipe 13 does not grow from the entire circumference, but only from the left side as shown by A in Fig. 3, so its growth is slow and blocks the conduit pipe 11 and metal pipe 13. Previously, it would have been melted by the warm air from the heating device 15 or the refrigerator compartment 5.

Therefore, the communication pipe 14 always connects the freezer compartment 2 to the refrigerator compartment 5.
This can reliably prevent a negative pressure phenomenon in the freezer compartment 2.

In this way, since the single communication pipe 14 can be used for both drainage and ventilation, the structure is simplified and the number of parts is reduced.

Moreover, since the freezer compartment 2 is connected to the refrigerator compartment 5 through only one pipe, convection occurs and warm air in the refrigerator compartment 5 does not enter the freezer compartment 2. It can be prevented as much as possible.

Furthermore, if the guide pipe 11 is formed integrally with the back plate 7 made of synthetic resin as in this embodiment, the freezer compartment cooler 3 and the metal pipe 1

Note that the present invention is not limited to the above-mentioned embodiment, and for example, in order to reduce the amount of outward bulge of the concave chamber 9, the sixth embodiment
As shown in the figure, the outer wall 8a of the fitting part 8 is used as the bottom of the recessed chamber 9, and a substantially semicircular recessed part 19 corresponding to the circular hole 10 is formed at the rear edge of the freezer compartment cooler 3. You may also do so.

Furthermore, the opening of the communication pipe on the side of the freezing chamber is not limited to the structure provided in the back plate, but may also be provided in the left or right side wall of the freezing chamber. Since a single pipe can serve as both a ventilation passage and a ventilation passage, manufacturing costs can be reduced, and warm air can be prevented from entering the freezer compartment due to convection as much as possible. To provide a refrigerator whose channels are not blocked by freezing of defrosting water.
