The separator fittings G are inserted symmetrically with the loop-shaped head 1 inside the pair of studs facing each other in this opening, and are placed slightly apart from each other so as to face each other. The leading edges a (described later) are spot welded C to the U-shaped opposing wall of the stud A, respectively.

In other words, it is made by bending a single steel plate, and as shown in the figure, it is bent outward at right angles from the tips of two flat plates 4 and 5 that extend parallel to each other at a slight interval of the same length from the base of the loop-shaped head 1. It consists of flat plates 2 and 3 of different lengths (flat plate 3 is about twice as long as flat plate 2), and the interval between each of the flat plates 4 and 5 is smaller than the diameter of the loop-shaped head.

After fixing in this way, it is optimal to use two pieces of gypsum board D, but by fixing one or more pieces to the studs A with screws, a partition with good sound insulation effect can be created.

The sound insulation effect is thought to be due to the structure of the separator and its spot welding to the studs. The recessed protrusion 6 of the flat plate 4 of the separator fitting slightly touches the flat plate 5, and in the case of a sound wave with a large amplitude, the two come into contact. It probably acts as a sound deadener.

Generally speaking, the sound transmission loss dB tends to be difficult to increase the sound insulation effect at low frequencies, but when using the stud of this invention, the sound transmission loss dB is lower than that at high frequencies, for example, 125 to 2000.
The effect is particularly noticeable at frequencies around Hz.

The measurement results of the sound insulation effects of the conventional partition structure shown in Fig. 1 (when two 12 mm gypsum boards are used) and the stud structure of the present invention shown in Fig. 4 (when two 12 mm gypsum boards are used each) are shown. A comparison can be made using the following table.

The larger the transmission loss, the higher the sound insulation performance.Especially, even a small loss in the low frequency range has a large impact on the sound insulation performance. As seen from the table above, the partition structure of the present invention is extremely superior to the standard. It can be seen that good results are shown.

As described above, the present invention is a partition in which studs having a U-shaped cross section are fixed to a runner with their openings facing each other, a plurality of separators are attached to the studs, and a gypsum board is fixed to the studs. The separator is made of a single steel plate, and is made of two flat plates of the same length that extend parallel to each other at a small distance from the base of a loop-shaped head, and are bent outward at right angles from the tips of the two flat plates of different lengths. A set of two separator metal fittings made of flat plates, one of the parallel opposing plates of the separator metal fittings is provided with a plurality of concave protrusions of small diameter so as to be slightly in contact with the parallel opposing plate, and one Insert the sets of separator fittings symmetrically facing each other with their loop-shaped heads inside and slightly apart, and spot the tip edges of the separator fittings on the U-shaped opposite walls of the studs. The main point is that it was welded.
