Conventionally, the scale plate for indicating instruments has generally been an aluminum plate with scales, indicators, etc. printed on it, making it a relatively expensive component. If reading is to be possible, a scale plate made of an aluminum plate cannot be internally illuminated, so the light source must be placed on the front side of the scale plate, and the light source should not come into direct contact with the eyes. There were various inconveniences, such as the need to cover the appearance.

Furthermore, in cases where there are positive and negative levels on the scale and indicators of the scale plate, it is necessary to display colors according to these levels to facilitate reading.

The present invention was made to solve these problems, and its purpose is to provide a visually expensive feeling similar to the conventional metal scale plate, and to place the light source on the back side of the scale plate. It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for manufacturing a scale plate for an indicating instrument, which enables the scale and index to be displayed optically, and also allows the color separation to be easily displayed.

以下、図面に示した実施例により詳細に説明する。Hereinafter, a detailed description will be given with reference to embodiments shown in the drawings.

FIG. 1 is a front view of an indicating instrument using a scale plate according to the present invention with the cover removed, and FIG. 2 is a rear view of the scale plate 20 seen from the back side. In these figures, reference numeral 10 12 is a case of the instrument, 12 is a cylindrical yoke, 13 is a magnetic steel core supported at the center of this yoke 12, 14 is a movable wire ring fitted with this magnetic steel core, and 15 is integrated with this movable wire ring 14. 16 indicates one bearing member, 17
indicates a light source arranged on the back side of the scale plate 20, that is, inside the case.

On the scale plate 20, a scale 21 and an index 22 ranging from a negative level to a positive level are formed over a range of 150 rotations of the pointer.

Next, the third method for manufacturing the scale plate 20 according to the present invention will be described.
This will be explained with reference to FIGS. 6 through 6.

First, from the back side of such a substrate 23, for example, red ink is printed or applied on the area 24 including the positive level scale 21a and the index 22a, and also on the area 24 including the negative level scale 21b and the index 22b. By printing or applying blue ink to the layers 25, color-coded transparent ink layers 24a and 25b are formed, respectively.

Next, as shown in FIG. 4, a scale 2 is placed on the surface of the substrate 230.
An ink layer 27 is formed by applying appropriate ink of the same color to the entire surface where 1 and the index 22 are left, that is, the background part, by screen printing.

Thereafter, a sheet 29 provided with aluminum foil 28 deposited in advance is hot-stamped onto the surface of the ink layer 27 formed with the scale 21 and indicators 22 remaining.

Due to this thermal compression, the aluminum foil 28 adheres to the ink layer 27, which has a relatively strong adhesive force, but it is difficult to adhere to the substrate A of the scale 21 and index 22 where no ink layer exists. When the sheet 29 is peeled off as shown in , the parts of the aluminum foil 28 corresponding to the scales 21 and indicators 22 are peeled off while remaining attached to the sheet 29, and all other parts remain adhered to the ink layer 27. .

If a light source 17 such as a neon lamp is placed and irradiated on the back side of the scale plate 20 manufactured in this way, an aluminum foil 28 will be formed on the front surface.
The portion where the aluminum foil 28 is attached is shielded from light, and the light from the light source 17 is transmitted through the portion where the aluminum foil 28 is not attached, that is, the scale 21 and the index 22.

As a result, the transmitted light from the scale and the index becomes colored light of each color of the ink layers 24 and 25 printed on the back surface, and is optically displayed.
