Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform a lenguage practice, etc. with a simple operation, by rewinding automatically a magnetic tape to a desired position when the tape is shifted to a prescribed position. CONSTITUTION:An answer language is pronounced and recorded on a magnetic tape 6 in response to the reproduced teaching language, and an LL mode switch, etc. is operated for practice. Thus the tape 6 is rewound. Then the position of the tape 6 for the stop of rewinding, the start of reproduction, etc. is controlled via a circuit 31 and accompanied with the coincidence secured between the storage quantity of the tape shift extent obtained by an arithmetic circuit 31 connected to a storage circuit 30 based on the terminal position signal and the initiation searching signal recorded on the tape 6 via a frequency detecting circuit 28 and the tape shift extent calculated in response to the count value of detecting pulses which are delivered from a tape travel amount detector 20. In such way, a language practice, etc. is possible with an automatic control of the tape travelling and a simple operation.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention is a magnetic tape position control device in a magnetic recording and reproducing device capable of transporting a magnetic tape in a play mode and a rewind mode. Device(
(hereinafter referred to as LL device) is suitable for application. 1 1. In the L device, the learner speaks based on the teaching audio recorded in advance on a magnetic tape VC and records it for language pronunciation practice, but in this case, the learning audio and Learner's 1. It is necessary to compare the sound with the sound to judge whether it is good or bad, and after recording the sound, the magnetic tape must be rewound to the initial position and played back from this position.

However, if this operation is performed manually, in order to rewind the magnetic tape to its initial position, rewind the tape an appropriate amount, play it back, and use the playback sound to determine whether or not it is at its initial position. If not, the magnetic tape must be rewound further, or if it has gone too far, it must be fast forwarded to find the initial position, making this operation complicated and hindering effective learning.

As described above, according to the present invention, a cue signal (signal T1 or FiT* in overwriting) and an end position signal (signal Ts in overwriting) that can be distinguished from each other are recorded on a magnetic tape, and these Signal detection means for discriminating and detecting signals; tape transport amount detection means; transport amount storage circuit; means for rewinding the magnetic tape by detecting the end position signal; It has means for subtracting based on the output and means for stopping rewinding of the magnetic tape when the stored content of the tape transport amount storage circuit becomes equal to the initial value, and the tape transport amount after the first start signal is stored in the tape transport amount storage circuit. The magnetic tape is sequentially memorized, and when the final electric signal is detected, the magnetic tape is rewound. At the same time, the memorized contents of the memorized circuit are sequentially subtracted by the detection noculus of the tape transport amount detecting means, and the memorized contents become the desired value 1i1[K. Since the rewinding of the magnetic tape is stopped when it reaches the position where the cue signal is detected, when the magnetic tape is transported and reaches a predetermined position, the magnetic tape is automatically moved to the correct position. It is now possible to rewind to the initial position, especially for school 11i.
It is suitable for magnetic recording and sickle reproducing devices.

In addition, by recording a plurality of cue signals on the magnetic tape, the magnetic tape can be rewinded accurately at any cue signal level WILt, and the magnetic tape can be repeatedly run between arbitrary signals. It has excellent practical effects such as:
