In an incinerator, the incinerator is surrounded by an inner and outer double wall with a cooling liquid tank in between, and a plurality of air nozzles connected to an external air supply source face the incinerator to supply air under pressure into the incinerator. A plurality of air pipes shaped along the outer periphery of the inner wall are provided in the vertical direction of the cooling liquid tank, and each of these air pipes is connected to a plurality of air nozzles facing into the incineration chamber at the corresponding inner wall position.
