えば車輌の走行距離を表示する計数装置の改良構造に関
するもので、特に計数装置を構成する文字車の桁上げ動

下位桁側の文字車から順次上位桁側へと桁上げ動作を行
なうようにした計数装置において、上記各文字車の最下
位桁文字車は、下位桁側を閉塞形成した筒状ホイールと
そのホイールの下位桁側の側面に駆動源からの回転を伝
達する伝達ギヤを形成するとともにその筒状ホイールの
上位桁側に位置した内部側面に二つのピンを立設し、上
記最下位桁文字車を除く各上位桁の文字車には下位桁側
を閉塞形成した各筒状ホイールとその各ホイールの下位
桁側の側面にラチェットギヤを形成するとともにその各
ホイールの上位桁側に位置した内部側面に二つのピンを
立設し、上記各文字車間にホルダーを介在し、該ホルダ
ーはプレートから筒体を突出形成するとともに該筒体の
内周面にラチェツト歯部が形成され、さらにラチェツト
歯部の一つと隣接して一つの桁送り用ギヤを形成して、
上記文字車の筒状ホイール内に上記ホルダーの筒体を内
装し、上記各文字車に形成された一方のピンには爪片が
回動自在に枢着され、該爪片のほぼ中央位置に長孔を形
成するとともに爪片の先端側に係合部とその係合部と連
続する外壁面と円弧面を形成し、さらに上記円弧面に続
いて上記一方のピンの近傍位置に陥没面を形成し、上記
他方のピンにはバネが枢着され、該バネの一方片の先端
側を折曲して折曲部を形威し、その折曲部は上記爪片の
