マフラーケース２内に、その長手方向で少なくとも３個
の区画室Ａ・・・・・・を形成する吸音材す付き第１隔
壁３．３を設けると共に、前記区画室Ａ・・・・・・の
夫々に、前記マフラーケース２の長手方向で膨張室Ａ□
と共鳴室Ａ２に区画する第２隔壁４を設け、エンジンに
接続する始端側排気管６を、前記区画室Ａ・・・・・・
のうち最上流のものに対して、先端開口が前記共鳴室Ａ
２に連通した状態で、かつ、管壁に穿設した小径孔Ｃに
より前記膨張室Ａ１に連通させた状態で設け、終端側排
気管８を前記区画室Ａ・・・・・・のうち最下流のもの
の膨張室Ａ１に連通させ、前記区画室Ａ・・・・・・の
うち隣接するものにわたって、中間排気管７．７を、管
壁に穿設した小径孔１により膨張室Ａ、、 Ａ□どうし
を連通させる状態で、かつ、先端開口が下流側の前記共
鳴室Ａ２に連通した状態で設け、前記始端側及び中間排
