The first purpose of the present invention is to eliminate such drawbacks and to provide a photographic print inspection device that can judge the quality of prints in a stationary state. The continuous inspection of rolls of photographic paper that have been printed one after the other is done in sequence, and since each customer has different photographing conditions and image quality, we can inspect photos with high inspection accuracy in sections for each customer. The object of the present invention is to provide a print inspection device, and the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to illustrated embodiments.

Reference numerals 10 and 11 denote photoelectric detecting sections provided at appropriate locations on the passage of the roll of photographic paper, for example, at the thin edge and lower edge of the presentation section 4; The detection section 11 is for reading cut marks C provided on the upper edge of the rolled photographic paper P for each frame of the rolled photographic paper P, and the other detecting section 11 is for reading the cut marks C provided at the upper edge of the rolled photographic paper P for each frame. This is to detect the sort mark S provided each time the customer changes.

On the other hand, 12 detects the motors 2', 3', ? according to the detection results of the detection units io, i1. ' is a control circuit for controlling the operation of a drive unit 13 having a cut mark C as an element. By the way, a counter 14 that outputs an output is connected, and the counter 14 and the detection section 11 for detecting the sort mark S are connected to an OR circuit 1.
2' to the drive control circuit 15 for the drive unit 13 so that the drive unit 13 is stopped each time the detection unit 10 detects a predetermined number of cut marks C or sort marks S. This is what I did.

With this configuration, the rolled photographic paper P to be inspected is set on the feed shaft 2, and the guide roller 17, the guide roller 5, the presentation section 4, the guide roller 6, the space between the drive roller 7 and the pinch roller 9, Once a part of the leader is passed from the tension roller 18 to the winding shaft 3 and set, a start switch (not shown) is turned on, and the motors 2', 3',
The drive section 13 having element 7' is operated to drive and transport the roll of photographic paper P at high speed, and the detection section 10 detects a predetermined number of cut marks C that have been previously provided at each frame interval on the roll of photographic paper P. If detected, the counter 14 in the control circuit 12 outputs an output signal, and a stop signal is output to the drive section 13 via the OR circuit 12' and the drive control circuit 15, and the roll of photographic paper P reaches the first predetermined number of frames. The printer stops with the print to be inspected displayed on the presentation section 4 provided on the front surface of the base 1.

During this time, the display control circuit 16 receives the output signal from the detection unit 10 and lights up the display elements A one after another, and when it stops, it outputs a signal to light up all of them. ', it is notified that all the prints should be inspected, and the prints in the stopped state can be inspected with high accuracy without getting tired.

However, when we reach the end of the continuation of the print for the customer,
The detection unit 11 continues to read the sort mark S, and the control circuit 12
Then, even before the counter 14 has counted the set number, the OR circuit 1 is activated by the detection signal of the detection section 11.
A stop signal is output from the drive control circuit 15 to the drive section 13 via the drive control circuit 2'.

In this case, the display control circuit 16 turns on only the number of display elements 4' corresponding to the current number on the counter 14, so the inspector only needs to inspect this display part. At this time, the prints of other subsequent customers will not be introduced into the presentation section 4, so it is possible to simultaneously inspect prints of different image quality, for example, with eyes more accustomed to the brightness of the previous customer's prints. Inspection errors caused by judging the next customer's prints can also be prevented.

In this way, once the prints for each customer have been completed, it is sufficient to continue the inspection for each customer in the same way, and as in the past, the prints that are constantly moving are inspected without knowing the classification of each customer. This makes it possible to perform inspections with higher accuracy than in the case of conventional methods.

As is clear from the description of the above embodiments, according to the present invention, the print to be inspected is introduced into the presentation section at high speed and presented in a stopped state, and is then inspected. In addition to reducing fatigue and increasing testing accuracy, this method also opens the door to linking it to a method that allows separate testing for each customer, so it has great practical value.
