Abstract

PURPOSE:To make high-speed cutting possible, by reproducing information from an optical disc device possible for recording and reproduction at high spees and supplying this reproduced signal to a master disc cutting device. CONSTITUTION:An output reproduced from an optical disc device possible for recording and reproduction at high speeds is converted into a format of a digital audio signal at a decoder 19, given to an electrooptic modulator 23, where an output of a laser 25 is modulated for recording on an optical disc 27 through an optica system 26. A clock is extracted from an output of the decoder 19 and the control of a rotating system 34 is executed so that the line speed of a recording track can be made constant. A signal is reproduced from a disc recorder and reproducer instead of a tape recorder at high speeds for cutting, allowing to attain high-speed cutting without giving damage to a recording medium.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to an optical disc master manufacturing device, and is particularly suitable for use in a system that supplies high-speed playback signals to an optical disc cutting device. 1 is a boot diagram of a general digital audio e-disk master production system to which the present invention is applied. As is well known, conventionally, an audio signal is converted into a digital signal using an A/D converter/IA device (1).

FIG. 2 is a four-dimensional diagram of an optical disc recording/reproducing apparatus (2) used in the optical disc recording and reproducing apparatus (2). This recording and reproducing machine uses an optical disc (4) that can be recorded and reproduced. As the recording medium, a deposited film of tellurium, selenium, etc. is used, and a laser beam (5) modulated with recording information is emitted onto the film to form bits. The input digital audio signal is supplied from the terminal to the encoder (7), where it is converted into a signal that matches the recording format of the optical disc.
The output of 7) is passed through a laser driver (8) to an optical head (9) consisting of a laser (9) and a lens (1 (I us).

The digital audio signal 1 applied to the terminal (6) has a self-clock format, and is applied to the clock extracting circuit a, from which the clock b (for example, 1) is extracted. The clock b is given to the N output 11a4, where it is output at 1/10, for example. The output (100Hz) of the frequency divider α◆ is the CPU α of the microcomputer.
The output is applied to the rotating servo yarn wheel through the output, and the rotating system (17) (DC motor, etc.) is locked (phase locked) to the clock divided by 1710. As a result, the disk (4) is driven to rotate at a constant angular velocity [(CAW) of, for example, SOOrpm.

The output of the frequency divider (to) is the same as the frequency of the output of the N frequency divider (14) on the recording side (for example, 100H2). This frequency divided clock is given to the rotation servo system aQ via the CPU α9, and its output is As a result, the rotation system aη is locked (phase fixed). Therefore, the disk (4) stably rotates at a rotation speed six times that of recording (for example, 900 rpm). This reduces the cutting time to 1/S (60 minutes). If it is a music signal, it will be shortened to 20 minutes).
