Conventionally, in this type of range ventilation fan, the hood has a plurality of exhaust ports in different directions such as the top, rear, or side, and one of them is located at a hole drilled in the wall. A hood is selected and a cylindrical exhaust port body is attached thereto, the rest is covered with a shielding plate, and the hood in this state is attached at a position above the range where the hole is present.

However, the exhaust port selected as described above, in other words, the hole in the wall, may be located on an extension of the exhaust direction of the main body of the ventilation fan incorporated in the hood, or it may be located in a different direction away from the direction. In some cases, they are located in the opposite direction, and in other cases, they are located in different directions, making it impossible to achieve uniform exhaustion. This presents the drawback that uniform performance cannot be achieved in terms of air volume, static pressure, etc. in all cases. Ta.

On the other hand, in such conventional devices, the above-mentioned exhaust port body is attached from the outside of the hood, and the external dimensions of the body increase, making it difficult to use the hood for a hanging cabinet or the like that was previously attached. There was also the drawback that it was not possible to install the whole thing in places where there was only enough room to fit it.

This invention was made in view of the above-mentioned circumstances,
Therefore, the object is to provide a range ventilation fan that provides uniform performance no matter which exhaust port is selected, and that can be installed as desired even in locations where there is only enough room to accommodate the hood.

On the other hand, reference numeral 8 denotes a ventilation fan body built into the hood 1, and more specifically, it is located on the rear surface 2b of the hood base 2, and is attached to the front surface of the ventilation fan at a position below the exhaust port 6 via fittings 9 and 10. The attached casing 11, the motor 14 attached to a position in front of the intake port 12 on the front surface of this casing 11 via a ventilable attachment arm 13, and the impeller directly connected to this motor 14 and located inside the casing 11. 15, and an exhaust port 16 on the upper surface of the casing 11 faces the exhaust ports 5, 6, and 7 of the hood 1.

17 surrounds the exhaust ports 5, 6, and 7 in the upper corner of the hood 1, particularly in the hood base 2, as shown in FIG. This forms a common air reservoir chamber 18 within the hood 1 for each of the exhaust ports 5, 6.7.

Further, a hole 19 is formed in the lower surface portion 17a of the inner wall plate 17, and the exhaust port 16 of the casing 11 of the ventilation fan body 8 attached as described above is inserted through the hole 19 as shown in FIG. This allows the air reservoir chamber 18 to communicate with the exhaust side of the ventilation fan main body 8.

In Fig. 3, reference numeral 20 denotes an exhaust port body to be attached to one of the exhaust ports 5°6.7 selected according to the position of the hole drilled in the wall (not shown). As described below, since it is attached from the inside of the hood 1, it has a tapered short rectangular cylindrical shape, but there are exhaust ports 5, 6, and 7 at the base.
In contrast, the inner wall plate 17 has a hole 21 larger than the entire exhaust port body 20 in its front face 17b.

Now, according to the present embodiment configured as described above, when the motor 14 of the ventilation fan body 8 is energized and started, the impeller 15 is driven to rotate, and the air flows from the range part (not shown) below the hood 1. The emitted smoke, odor, etc. are sucked into the casing 11 through the intake port 4 and the intake port 12 and are discharged from the casing 11 through the exhaust port 16.

The smoke, odor, etc. discharged in this manner accumulates in the air reservoir chamber 18 that communicates with the exhaust side of the ventilation fan body 8, and is exhausted from here through the exhaust port body 20 to the outside of the room.
Therefore, even in the illustrated state in which the exhaust port body 20 is attached to the exhaust port 6, or in a state in which the exhaust port body 20 is attached to the exhaust port 5 or the exhaust lower, respectively. Even in this case, the air is exhausted from the air reservoir chamber 18 with a uniform static pressure and a uniform air volume, and in this way, uniformity of performance can be achieved, and therefore, desired exhaust performance can be expected.

Further, as mentioned above, in this embodiment, the exhaust port body 20 is connected to any of the exhaust ports 5, 6.7 from the inside of the hood 1 through the hole 21 of the inner wall plate 17 that forms the air storage chamber 18. Since it can be installed as desired, when installing it in a place where there is only enough room to accommodate the hood 1 in relation to a hanging cabinet, etc., the hood 1 can be installed first, and then the exhaust port body 20 can be installed. Thus, it is possible to obtain a desired and complete installation at the above-mentioned locations.

Furthermore, the inner wall plate 17 used for attaching the exhaust port body 20 as described above.
The hole 21 also has a shielding plate 24 after the exhaust port body 20 is attached.
Since the hole 21 is closed by the inner wall plate 1, there is no risk of air leakage and the appearance can be kept good.
The structure is substantially the same even if the entire front part 17b of 7 is removable.

Note that the exhaust ports 5, 6, and 7 may be formed together with a punchable shielding plate, and only the shielding portion of the selected exhaust port may be opened by punching out the shielding plate. In this case, the shielding plates 22, 23, etc. are not required separately, so these shielding plates 22, 23, etc. may be provided only when necessary.

As is clear from the above description, the present invention includes a hood having a plurality of exhaust ports oriented in different directions, a ventilation fan body built into the hood, and a ventilation fan body that communicates with the exhaust side of the ventilation fan body within the hood. an inner wall plate provided to form a common air reservoir chamber for each of the exhaust ports; and an exhaust port attached to the inner wall plate from the inside of the inner wall plate to one of the exhaust ports selected from the exhaust ports. With a configuration consisting of a hole formed to allow the body to pass through and a shielding plate that closes this hole, the desired uniform performance in terms of air volume, static pressure, etc. can be achieved regardless of which exhaust port is selected. Moreover, even in places where there is only enough room to fit the hood, the entire structure, including the exhaust port body, can be installed as desired.
Furthermore, there is no risk of air leakage and the appearance can be maintained in good condition.
It is possible to provide a range ventilation fan that has a number of excellent practical effects.
