Claims

An arm supporting the rotating shaft of the pinch roll that makes rolling contact with the paper feed roll is rotatably mounted on the rotating shaft, and a control arm is mounted on the rotating shaft so as to be rotationally integrated. A spring is stretched between the support arm and the rotation shaft can be positioned between a - rotation position and another rotation position, and between the two rotation positions, it can be rotated from the outside with a click motion. The support arm and the control arm have a rotation positioning mechanism, and the support arm and the control arm rotate the support arm at a negative rotation position of the rotation shaft to a position where the pinch roll is separated from the paper feed roll. The paper feeding mechanism is provided with a retaining portion for causing the control arm to rotate, and the pinch roll is brought into rolling contact with the paper feeding roll by the spring when the control arm is in another rotational position.
