[Detailed Description of the Invention] The present invention relates to an improved structure of a deck board for a metal pallet on which cargo to be transported by a forklift or the like is loaded.

This type of pallet is generally constructed by integrally joining these three boards A, B, and C with a beam C interposed between the upper deck board A and the lower deck board B, as shown in Fig. 7. In this pallet, when inserting the fork pawl E into the gap between the upper and lower deck boards, in order to facilitate smooth insertion of the fork pawl E, the outer surface of the upper deck board A is formed with a slope F as shown in the figure. The tip of the fork claw E is inserted and guided into the gap by the inclined surface F.

However, when such an inclined surface F is applied to a metal pallet, there will be insufficient welding allowance between the deck board A and the reinforcement plate G.

In other words, the metal pallet has upper and lower deck boards A and B.
Since steel pipes are used for the girder material, the end opening of the girder material is sealed with a plate G, and at the same time, the relevant plate G is welded to the upper and lower deck boards A, B and the girder material, and a metal pallet is assembled. However, when the sloped surface F is formed on the upper deck board A, the side edge cross section of the deck board A becomes wedge-shaped, and the welding margin is reduced because the contact plate G is in contact with the iron part. There were concerns about the reinforcement strength of the plate G, which was extremely rare.

In addition, a triangular gap H was formed between the deck board A and the backing plate G, and there was a drawback that dust could easily accumulate in this area.

The present invention was developed in view of these points, and the details thereof will be explained below based on the drawings. Among the deck boards of a metal pallet, the upper deck board 1 is made of a steel pipe with a square cross section as shown in FIG. , by removing an appropriate width from both ends and the central part of this steel pipe, press working is performed on one side edge of the steel pipe to crush it and form an inclined curved surface 2 on the iron part, thereby forming a non-collapsed part 3 having a rectangular cross section. A crushed portion 4 is formed which has a substantially triangular cross section and has an inclined curved surface 2 on its outer surface.

As shown in Fig. 6, the lower deck board 5 is also cut from a steel pipe with a rectangular cross section, and press work is applied to both edges of the steel pipe, excluding an appropriate width at both ends and the center. A chevron-shaped inclined curved surface 6 is formed on both sides of the steel pipe in the crushed iron part, so that a non-collapsed part 7 having a rectangular cross section and a crushed part 8 having a substantially semicircular cross-section and a chevron-shaped sloped curved surface 6 on the outer surface are formed. It is formed.

When constructing a metal pallet using these upper and lower deck boards 1 and 5, as shown in FIGS.
Further, the lower deck board 5 is vertically opposed to each other so that its chevron-shaped inclined curved surface 6 faces upward, and the beam member 9 is inserted between the non-collapsed portions 3 and 7 of both deck boards 1.
.. 9 are tightly welded together, and then the end of the girder material 9 is attached to the backing plate 1.
0, and also put the upper and lower ends of the corresponding board 10 against the sides of the non-collapsible parts 3 and 7 of the upper and lower stick boards 1 and 5,
In addition, the backing plate 10 is welded to the three members 1 and 5.9.

Of the deck boards 1 and 5, the lower deck board 5
The reason why the chevron-shaped inclined curved surface 6 is formed on both sides of the steel pipe is to allow the wheels of a dumping equipment such as a band lift to ride smoothly over the lower plow board 5 and insert it into the pallet, and vice versa. This is to allow the lower pegboard 5 to ride smoothly and be pulled out of the pallet, but it goes without saying that the angled curved surface 6 at the bottom of the chevron is useful for inserting the fork pawls in the same way as the slanted curved surface 2 of the upper plowboard 1.

As described in detail above, the present invention provides non-collapsed portions of an appropriate width at required intervals in a steel pipe having a substantially rectangular cross section, and also crushes the side edges of the steel pipe between the non-collapsed portions so that the outer surface of the crushed portions Since this deck board is used to construct a metal pallet, it is necessary to seal the girder material interposed between the upper and lower deck boards, seal the ends of the girder materials, and seal the upper and lower deck boards. As in the above-mentioned embodiment, the plate which is welded to the base plate and the girder material can be attached using the non-collapsible portion of the deck board, and therefore, this installation on the deck board side has a flat and wide surface area. By providing a large welding allowance between the deck board and the girder material, and between the deck board and the backing plate, these can be firmly welded together.

Furthermore, since the backing plate is welded to the non-collapsible portion of the deck board, no triangular gap as shown in FIG. 7 is created in this portion, so that no dust accumulates.
