Claims

The peeling belt 6 is brought into contact with the axial end of the photoconductor surface 1a to peel off the widthwise end of the transfer sheet 18, and the widthwise remainder of the peeled transfer sheet 18 is deflected by the deflection roll 8 to convey the transfer sheet. In the transfer sheet peeling device configured to feed the transfer sheet to the member 4, the deflection roll 8 is rotatably provided at a predetermined position facing the photoreceptor surface 1a, and the circumferential surface of the deflection roll 8 is inclined toward the photoreceptor surface 1a.
