スクリューと、前記シリンダに揺−動可能に組付けられ
て前記アジヤスティングナツトに設けたアジヤスティン
グホイールに係合し前記ピストンに連結するリーディン
グシューの拡張動作に応じて揺動するアジヤスティング
レバーを備え、前記各リーディングシューとドラム内面
間のブレーキシュー間隙が所定量に達したとき、前記ア
ジヤスティンブレ＼ バーが揺動復帰時に前記アジ
ヤスティングナツトを回転させて前記アジヤスティング
スクリューを前進させることにより、前記ブレーキシュ
ー間隙を自動的に調整するようにしたドラムブレーキの
ブレーキシュー間隙自動調整装置において、前記アジヤ
スティングレバーに所定形状の空所を設けてこの空所の
一側縁部を内面ラチェットに形成するとともに、前記ア
ジヤスティングレバーの空所に前記内面ラチェットに保
合可能な突張ポールを回動可能にかつ吊下状に配置して
、車両の前方への下降傾斜角または減速度が所定値以上
に達したとき、前記ポールが前記内面ラチェットに係合
して前記アジヤスティングレバーの揺動を規制するよう
