本発明は吸気−を上下移動し、ベンチュリ面積を増減す
るピストン弁を有するピストン弁式気化器に関するもの
である。 □
一般にこの種気化器のピ、ス1ン弁は械化器本体の案内
筒と接触した状態で摺動自在に装着されるものであり、
このようなピストン弁は常に案内筒内をスムーズに移動
し、しかも摺動面の摩耗が少なく、長期間安定した作動
を行なうことが必要である。ところが最近では気化器の
軽量化が望まれており、ピストン弁あるいは気化器本体
にアルミニウム若しくはアルミニウム合金を使用する傾
向が多くなってきているが、アルミニウム若しくはアル
ミニウム合金を使用したピストン弁及び気化器本体の案
内筒は喰い付、コジレ、カジリ等を発生させ、作動不良
を生じやすいと共に軟質金属であることから摩耗しやす

擦係数の大幅な低減を計ることができ、耐摩耗性にすぐ
れ、且つ作動性が良好で、喰い付、コジレ、カジリ等の
弊害のないピストン弁式気化器が得られる。又、可変ベ
ンチュリ式気化器においては、更にピストン弁の機関の
運転状態に対する応答性がすばやくなると共に耐摩耗性
がすぐれていることから空気及び燃料計量特性が長期間
安定し、常に機関に対する空燃比を初期設定値に近い値
で維持することができるため、−テイング等にくらべ、
