【考案の詳細な説明】 本考案はボルト溶接装置用電極チップの改良に関するも
のである。

従来のボルト溶接装置用電極チップは上面中央部にボル
ト軸部挿通用のカイト穴を設けるとともに下面中央部に
冷却水導入穴を設けた電極チップ本体の該ガイド穴に絶
縁筒体を嵌着したものであるから、電極チップ本体の冷
却が悪いうえに長期の使用に伴なって絶縁筒体内を昇降
動するボルト軸部と侵入する塵芥などの異物によって絶
縁筒体の損耗が激しく、シかも、ボルトの溶接作業によ
り電極チップ本体の上面が損耗した場合には所要の長さ
だけ絶縁筒体とともに電極テップ本体の上部を切削して
使用し、ボルト軸部がガイド穴の底部に当接する迄再使
用した後残部を破棄しなげればならないため、破棄する
部分が多くて非常に不経済であるなどの欠点がある。

チップを目的として完成されたもので、図示の実施例に
示すように、圧縮空気供給口1を備える電極チップ本体
2の上端開口にキャップ3を着脱自在に取付けて該キャ
ップ3の中央にボルト軸部挿通用のガイド孔4を設ける
とともに該ガイド孔4に挿脱自在に嵌挿される絶縁筒体
5を電極チップ本体2の空室6内において弾発支持させ
たことを特徴とするものである。

る絶縁筒体5は電極テップ本体2の空室6内において弾
発支持されているから、挿入時にボルト軸部イが絶縁筒
体5に引っ掛かった状態で上部電極を下降してボルト頭
部口を押圧した場合に、絶縁筒体5が弾発支持下に無理
なく下降することによりボルト軸部イは絶縁筒体5内に
無理なく挿通位置決めされることとなる。
