When forming a mold for a steel ingot, a skid-like support consisting of a mounting part and legs is supported on a bogie that runs on a track, and a core is assembled onto the lower mold on the skid supported by this bogie. On the other hand, a main mold is painted and molded on a trolley that can run on another track, and this main mold is placed on the lower mold, and then temporarily assembled, dried and molded on the skid. Techniques for performing assembly operations are known.

Conventionally, a single batch type drying oven has been used, but not only does the lack of air circulation cause the interior of the oven to become overheated, which has a negative effect, but the hot air is also concentrated at the top of the oven. The entire mold could not be dried evenly.
