Abstract

PURPOSE:To surely joint a pipe to a steel plate easily and at low cost, by processing an end part of the pipe to horn shape, forming a flange part to the end part of the pipe, mounting said flange part to a through hole of the steel plate and performing resistance welding. CONSTITUTION:A pipe 3 is formed by cutting a general steel pipe, provided with a flange 12 to the upper end by forming a horn shaped opening angle about 90 deg. and provided with a screw 13 to the lower end screwed with a part of pressure switch 2 and the like. A through hole 14 is provided to a pressure tank 1, and the flange 12 of the pipe 3 is engaged to the through hole 14, then resistance welding is performed in this engagement part. The mounting method by the resistance welding is different from the mounting method interposed with a packing by using bolts and nuts, and the connection can be surely performed by the welding additionally without the necessity for again handling the inside of the tank 1 by hand, then replacement of the pipe 3 is not required to be considered.
