Abstract

PURPOSE:To heighten the effect of separating unseparated documents by regulating the speed of a pick roller to not lower than the speed of a separate belt portion before the document drawn out by the pick roller is nipped by the separate belt. CONSTITUTION:Before a document is nipped by a separate belt 14, the speed not lower than the transport speed of the belt 14 is applied to a pick roller 16, so that the roller 16 is prevented from slipping on the document 3 so as to prevent occurrence of smeared letter on the document 3. In case of dropping the belt 14 after aligning, the dropping shock is damped to smoothly dliver the document 3 between the roller 16 and the belt 14.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION (al) Technical Field of the Invention The present invention relates to an OCR device or an OMR device that reads characters and symbols spread on grudge slips, and particularly relates to OCR devices and OMR devices that read characters and symbols spread on grudge slips. [Regarding a form conveying device that improves the separation and dirtiness of forms when conveying them to a collecting section by separating the forms one by one using a rate belt section.

(bJ Prior Art and Problems) For example, in an OCR device as shown in FIG. The form is set in the reference direction, and the form set in the reference direction is sent to the reading section 7 by the feed roller 26. After being read, it passes through the serial numbering section 8, which performs numbering as necessary, and then via the switching valve 9. It is accommodated in either cutter A or B.

Conventionally, the separator portion 4 has a structure of 1 as shown in FIG.
A gap a is provided between the pair of rollers with a high coefficient of friction so that one form 3 can pass through, the upper side is used as a feeding roller 10' and rotates normally in the paper running direction, and the lower side is used as a separate roller 10.
Stationary or rotating in reverse 0 This method uses Bitter Roller 2.
If the paper sheets 3 are fed in duplicate and the thickness of the paper sheets 3 is thin, the gap a becomes smaller, making it difficult to manage the gap. Furthermore, since the separation roller 10 makes point contact with the form, separation errors are likely to occur. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 2(B), the upper feeding roller 10' is made larger, and the lower separating roller 1O is made to have more contact with the form 3 by increasing the roller 11.
The belt 12 is brought into surface contact with the belt 12 wrapped around the belt 1.
However, in this method, in order to improve the rate effect, the contact surface with the form is lengthened, so the surface pressure is applied to the form. 3. It was easy to stain the text area and its surroundings, and the separation of multi-feed forms and the occurrence of stains were contradictory factors, especially in the separate area.■ When reading a form with an OCR device, The stigma of the form caused by dirt on the form or contact with a big roller, etc., causes the form 3 to be rejected or misread.

A plate-shaped fixing pad 13 is used instead of the roller 10' to reduce the cost. The fixing pad 13 is made by pasting a rubber member on a sheet metal, and is fixed to the side surface of the hopper section 15 so as to face the separate belt 14. The surface of the separate belt 140 is coated with foamed rubber, and the friction coefficient μ between the belt 14 and the form 3, the friction coefficient μ between the fixed knot 13 and the form 3, and the friction coefficient μs between the forms.
When the relationship is 1μm〉μ〉〉μ口, the single-feeding form is separated. The form 3 on 15 is fed out by the big roller 16, and transferred to the separate belt 14 via the separating groove 21. In this case, it is desirable that the speed of the big row 16 and the speed of the separate belt 14 be equal.

Normally, the big roller is rotated intermittently to prevent big mistakes in forms, or even if it rotates continuously, it is often at a low speed. Therefore, while the rotation of the big roller 16 has not started up sufficiently, the delivered form 3 gets caught in the separate pellet (14Vc) which is constantly being rotated.
The form 3 is pulled and the big roller 16 breaks down,
It stains the letters, etc. on the form. Therefore, in the present invention, when the speed of the big roller 16 rotated by the DC motor is VO, and the speed of the separate belt 14 continuously rotated by the induction motor is vl, as shown in FIG. In addition, a margin is set for the attained speed Vo of the big roller 15, and the speed ftVI of the separate belt 14 is set at the lowest speed.

Also, the separation effect of multi-fed documents by Separate Belt 14&C is better if the surface pressure of the separate belt 140 is higher, but the relationship between 0 surface pressure and dirt, which tend to transfer document characters due to surface pressure, is a contradictory condition. However, from the viewpoint of device reading performance and aesthetic conditions, it is recommended to set the distribution pressure including the weight of the separate belt 140 and the recovery spring pressure to 50 g 7 cm. To align the reference plane with the reference plane on the device,
In the aligning section where the aligning process is performed (see Figure 1), the big roller 16 and separate belt 14 are lifted to create a space where the form is free.
The separate belt 14 is lifted as shown by the dotted line by the crank lever 17 using D of the separate belt 14 as a fulcrum during lifting and lowering so that the aligning operation can be performed immediately, and the separate belt 140 is restored by the tension of the recovery spring 18. Because the surface of the bat that fixes the separate belt 14 is made of rubber-based material, etc., the vibration H of the bimping is large and the damping time is long, as shown in Fig. 5. 0 Even if the form 3 fed out from the big roller 16 enters the running separate belt 14, it will not get caught, so to prevent this, a vibration damping component (2) as shown in FIG. 6 is provided. The vibration damping component 19 is, for example, a metal surface coated with a rubber member. The vibration damping component 19 also serves as a fall stopper for the rotary gear 20 to which a crank bar connected to a separate bell) is attached.
The separate belt 14 is made to fall slightly below the position where it fell onto the fixed pad 13, so as not to receive a falling impact. As a result, it is attenuated as shown by the dotted line in Figure 5,
Since there is almost no damping, the form 3 fed out from the big roller 16 is smoothly caught in the separate belt.

゜Conveyance speed (speed no less than the speed of the big roller 16)
From the fact that it can be seen in the figure, it is possible to prevent the big roller 16 from slipping on the form 3, and the sliding of the big roller 16 from the conventional method can be prevented.
There will be no smearing of characters on the form. In addition, by setting the surface pressure of the separate belt 14 at an appropriate level, transfer of form characters can be prevented, and the separate belt 1 after alignment can be prevented.
4 falls, by attenuating the falling impact, the belt #I3 between the big roller 16 and the separate belt 14 is reduced.
The delivery will be carried out smoothly.

(f> Effects of the Invention As explained in detail above, the form conveyance device of the present invention provides the big roller with a speed not lower than the conveyance Mlt of the separate belt before the form is bitten by the separate belt, To prevent slipping of the big roller and to prevent the pressure of the separating section for separating double-fed forms from exceeding 50g/cm' at each part of the form, to prevent the transfer of form characters, and to prevent the separation belt from falling. By attenuating vibrations caused by vibrations and improving the grip of documents in the separation belt, the effect of improving the separation effect of multi-fed documents and preventing stains on documents is significant.
