Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a light flashing signal from being misunderstood as the signal which is for ahead vehicles, in a head light switching device for a vehicle or the like, in which head lights are flashed in accordance with signals from a vehicle speed sensor, by providing a hysteresis circuit which actuates under a predetermined condition. CONSTITUTION:When the speed of a vehicle becomes relatively low, a vehcile speed sensor 1 lowers voltage at the point C, resulting in that transistors T2, T3 constituting a hysteresis circuit 9, are turned off and on, respectively, so that charged current in a capacitor C4 is fed to a transistor T4 through a resistor R11 for turning on head lights 5 for a predetermined time period. Further, upon the vehicle accelerating, the transistor T4 is turned on after the capacitor C4 is charged, and therefore, the head lights are turned on through a relay K1. Accordingly, the head lights are prevented from flashing even upon the vehicle slowly running due to a trafic snarl, and therefore, there are no fear that no signal for ahead vehicles is issued. Further, after the elapse of a predetermined time from a stopping, the capacitor C4 discharges its charged current so that transistors T4, T5 are turned off and on, respectively, and therefore, relays K1, K2 are energized for turning off the head lights 5.

That is, the present invention provides a switching device that is equipped with a vehicle speed sensor that sends a signal corresponding to the speed of the vehicle, and that flashes the headlights in response to the signal from the vehicle speed sensor, which is activated when the vehicle speed exceeds a certain value. A hysteresis circuit that recovers when the temperature drops below a certain value, which is lower than a certain value, and a time constant circuit that operates with the output of this hysteresis circuit are installed, and the headlights are turned off after a certain period of time determined by the time constant circuit after the hysteresis circuit is restored. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 7, when the key switch (Sl) and the main switch (82) are closed, the amplifier (8) is activated.
If the vehicle is stopped for a certain amount of time, the headlights will turn off. In addition, the headlights are turned off even before the vehicle starts driving. Generally, when driving at night, it is better to have the headlights on even if you are stationary until you start the engine and start driving because you can see the condition of the car.
Once the vehicle starts running and stops, it is convenient to automatically turn off the light if the vehicle stops for a certain period of time or more, as this makes driving operations easier. We also have a hysteresis circuit that recovers when it goes below a certain value, which is lower than this certain value, and a time constant circuit that operates with the output of this hysteresis circuit, and after the hysteresis circuit recovers, the headlights turn off after a certain period of time determined by the time constant circuit. A vehicle headlight switching device characterized by: 2. In a switching device that is equipped with a vehicle speed sensor that sends out a signal corresponding to the speed of the vehicle and that flashes the headlights in response to the signal from the vehicle speed sensor, it is activated when the vehicle speed exceeds a certain value and is lower than this certain value. A hysteresis circuit that recovers when the value falls below a certain value and a time constant circuit that operates with the output of this hysteresis circuit are provided, and the headlights are turned off after a certain period of time determined by the time constant circuit after the hysteresis circuit recovers. Furthermore, a silicon-controlled rectifier is inserted in series with the collector resistor of a transistor operated by the output signal of the time constant circuit, and the gate of the silicon-controlled rectifier is connected to the collector of the transistor in the preceding stage of the transistor. Switching device.
