Abstract

PURPOSE:To allow a person to be a self-timer photographic object to predict a shutter release time while observing a photographic range by providing a light emitting display member for selective dispay of various pieces of information behind a reflecting mirror for object range observation which is a half-mirror. CONSTITUTION:Hour and minute display, etc., are seen from the front through the half-mirror 19. Delay setting is carried out by a releasing circuit 24 through the operation of a mode switching part 14 and a down-count signal of release delay time is inputted from a timer circuit 23 to a light emitting display circuit 22 by a mode switching circuit 21 to light emit a corresponding segment part; and the numeral of set release dealy time is displayed on the light emitting display part 20 and viewed from the reflecting mirror 19. When a release button 6 is pressed, counted values from, for example, 10 to 0 are displayed successively on the display part 20. A person to be an object observes the photographic range by an image reflected by the rear half-mirror surface of the mirror 19 and also knows the time up to when the shutter is released simultaneously.

BACKGROUND ART Conventionally, when performing self-timer photography, when the camera is placed against a wall or the like, or when the photographer is the only subject, the photographing area may not be confirmed and the photographing may fail. To solve this problem, cameras have been proposed that are equipped with a light-emitting display member that can be seen by people within the shooting range, but due to space constraints, something like a light-emitting diode is used as the light-emitting display member, so it is bright. It is difficult to confirm this light-emitting display member at a certain location, and it is also completely impossible to confirm the background of the photographer.

In order to eliminate these conventional drawbacks, the present applicant, in Japanese Patent Application No. 57-77063, installed a relatively large reflecting mirror in Camera Q and confirmed that the photographer's body was reflected in the reflecting mirror. We proposed a camera in which it is possible to confirm that the photographer is within the shooting range, and also to confirm that the photographer is in the background Cζ.In this device, the self-timer is End BL It is necessary to position the subject with L and prepare for shooting by the time the self-timer ends, but since there is no way to know in advance when the self-timer will end, the photographer who is the subject of the photograph must anticipate the end of the self-timer. , I had to quickly make observations and prepare for photography in a state of anxiety.

As mentioned above, the display state of the light emitting display member (2o) can be switched by operating the mode switching section (14), which will be explained in more detail with reference to FIGS. 1 and 4. In Fig. 4, (21) is the mode setting member (14).
A mode switching circuit (22) switches the display state of the light-emitting display member U' (20) according to the operation of the light-emitting display member (2o) based on a signal input from the time cry circuit (23) described later. A light-emitting display circuit that emits light,

As shown in Fig. 1, the shutter control circuit which releases or closes the shutter, aligns the mode switching member (14) with the indicator (15) marked near the setting section 44 (+4). Then, the mote switching circuit (21) shown in FIG. 4 cuts off the signal from the poetry circuit (23) to the light emitting display circuit (22), and no display is made on the solo display member (20).

Furthermore, when the mode switching member (14) is set to match the index (18), a release delay time setting section (not shown) in the release circuit (24) sets the time from the release button operation to the shutter opening to be a certain period of time, e.g. The mode switching circuit (21) outputs a subtraction count signal corresponding to the above-mentioned release delay time to the clock circuit (2).
3) is input to the light emitting display circuit (22), the segment section corresponding to the signal emits light, and a numerical value corresponding to the set release delay time is displayed on the light emitting display section (20). The displayed numerical value can be seen from in front of the camera through a reflector (19) shaped like a -7 mirror. Next, when you press the release button (6), the release circuit (24)
At the same time, an operation signal is input to the clock circuit (23), and in parallel with the operation of the release circuit (24), a subtractive count is started in the circuit (23) for that time. . When the clock circuit (23) performs a subtraction count, the subtraction count signal corresponding to this count is sequentially input to the light emitting display circuit (22), and the segment portion corresponding to the signal emits light, for example, from 10' to O. The numbers are sequentially displayed on the light-emitting display member (20). By viewing this number display from the front of the camera through the reflector (19), the person to be photographed can see the photographing range using the image of the subject reflected on the half-mirror-shaped rear surface (+9a) of the reflector (19). At the same time, it is possible to know the time until the release circuit (24) completes its operation, that is, the time until the shutter is released. When the subtraction count of the clock circuit (23) ends, the subtraction count signal corresponding to 0 seconds or the hour circuit (2
3) is input to the light emitting display circuit (22), and almost simultaneously when the light emitting display circuit (20) displays O, the release circuit (24) reaches the set release delay time, for example 10 seconds, and releases the same signal. A release signal is input from the circuit (24) to the shutter control circuit (25), which causes the shutter control circuit (25) to open the 7-yanter of the camera, and at the same time, the control circuit (25) starts an exposure control operation. When the proper exposure is reached, the shutter control circuit (25)
When the shutter is closed, the shutter close signal is input to the time 81 circuit (23) as a shutter close signal or a subtraction count reset signal, and the same signal is output from the time t1 circuit (23). The subtraction count signal is returned to the state before the release operation, and if the subtraction count <jE is input to the light emitting display circuit (22), the display on the light emitting display member (20) is returned from O to, for example, 1O. Photographing is completed by the following operations, and the state returns to the state in which photographing can be performed again.

In the above embodiment, numerical values are displayed on the light-emitting display member (2o) during self-timer photography, but in addition to this, only the vertical direction of each segment of the light-emitting display member (2o) is displayed. It is also possible to configure the display so that it is turned off line by line in response to the progress of the subtraction count, and when the entire display disappears, a release signal is output from the release circuit (24) and the -shutter is released. Also, a light emitting display member (2) with a numerical value corresponding to the subtraction count
0) will be displayed a little before the release signal is output from the release circuit (24), for example 2 to 3 seconds, and will not be displayed before then, and will only be displayed if the subject is in the shooting range. It is also useful to configure it so that it can be observed.

Effects As described above, in this invention, a reflecting mirror for observing the shooting range from the subject side is provided on the front of the camera, the reflecting mirror is shaped like a half mirror, and a light-emitting display member is provided behind the reflecting mirror. Since the configuration is configured to display the elapsed time during timer shooting, the subject can observe the shooting range during self-timer shooting, and at the same time know in advance when the shutter will be released. Since the observation can be completed before the shutter is opened, it is possible to prevent the failure of the shutter to be opened while observing the photographic range. Furthermore, the light-emitting member can display various types of information using the mode switching member, thereby enabling the camera to be used in a wide range of applications.
