Abstract

PURPOSE:To simultaneously collect the samples of dust and mist, and to measure the concentrations of them, by previously separating and collecting the mist by utilizing a centrifugal force caused by a spiral pipe, and collecting the dust by a filter. CONSTITUTION:Waste gas is led to a spiral pipe 15 from a nozzle 13. Dust and mist contained in the gas are separated from the gas by a centrifugal force while flowing in the pipe 15, but most of the dust is led, together with the gas, from an inlet port 20 of a gas passing pipe 18 into a bag-shaped filter 10 through an outlet port 21 of the pipe 18 because the particle size of the dust is small, and all the dust is collected by filtration here. The dust of large size and the mist, separated in the spiral pipe 15 by a centrifugal force, flow along the pipe 15 and fall down from the other end 17 into a mist receiver 21, and are accumulated.

In soot and smoke generating facilities, wet type dust collectors and harmful gas processing equipment are widely used to prevent air pollution. The exhaust gas discharged into the atmosphere from these devices contains dust, which is solid particles, as well as mist, which is particles of liquid such as the absorbing liquid used or moisture.

When dust and mist coexist in this way, the mist sample is also collected at the same time as the dust sample, making it easy for the filter to become clogged or damaged, and the collected mist to pass through the filter. This causes various obstacles to sample collection, such as water flowing out. Such a phenomenon is a major cause of making it impossible to measure dust concentration or significantly reducing measurement accuracy.

In order to solve these problems, the present invention uses a spiral tube that uses centrifugal force to separate and collect mist with a relatively large particle size in advance, thereby preventing clogging of the filter that collects dust and the loss of mist. By preventing this, dust samples and mist samples can be collected at the same time, making it possible to measure the concentrations of both.

以下、本発明を添付した図面により詳細に説明する。Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

An exhaust gas introduction nozzle 1 is provided in the front end opening 12 of the lid member 4.
3 is installed and fixed via a rubber stopper 14. On the other hand, inside the lid member 4, a spiral tube 15 is arranged along the central axis of the lid member four times to the nozzle e 3, and the tip 16
is arranged on the wall surface behind the front end opening 12 so as to be airtight with the nozzle 13, and the other end 17 is opened inside the lid member 4. A ventilation pipe 18 is fixed to the device through a rubber stopper 19 in the cylindrical body 9 at the rear end of the lid member 4, and the exhaust gas sucked from the nozzle 13 through the spiral pipe 15 passes through the inside of the lid member 4. It is designed to be introduced into the filter 10 from the inlet 19 of the trachea 18 through the outlet 20.

The exhaust gas is sucked by operating a suction pump (not shown) and guided to the spiral pipe 15 through the nozzle 13 as shown by the arrow. The spiral tube 15 is a glass tube with an inner diameter of about 5 mm wound around 5 times to a diameter of about 30 mm, and the sucked exhaust gas is given rotational motion here.

At this time, dust and mist in the exhaust gas are separated from the flow of the exhaust gas by the action of centrifugal force and collected on the inner wall surface of the spiral tube 15. The critical particle size of the dust and mist collected here varies depending on the flow rate of the suction gas and the number of turns of the spiral tube, but when the flow rate is 10 m/s and the number of turns is 5, the particle size is about 1 μm, and the mist is Since the particle size is large, most of the particles are collected. On the other hand, since the coexisting dust usually has a particle size -A smaller than that of mist, it is hardly collected by the spiral tube. The collected mist and a small portion of large dust flow down from the other end 17 along the spiral tube 15, are accumulated in the mist reservoir 21 inside the lid member 4, and do not flow out to the outside. .

On the other hand, the dust and a small portion of fine mist that are not collected by the spiral tube 15 are introduced into the bag-shaped filter 10 through the inlet 20 and outlet 21 of the ventilation tube 18 along with the suction gas, as shown by the arrow. and here all f
Over-collection occurs. This bag-shaped filter 10 has a collection rate of 99%.
The above-mentioned fluororesin-based water-resistant materials are usually used. Note that a small portion of the mist collected in the bag-like filter 10 is extremely small and will not leak out through the filter, but even in such a case, it will accumulate in the storage tube 1. Therefore, it will not leak outside.

As described above, according to the present invention, most of the mist in the exhaust gas is collected by the spiral tube, so there is no obstruction such as clogging or leakage of the bag-shaped filter, and the separation and collection of dust and mist is facilitated. This improves the accuracy of concentration measurements.
