Abstract

PURPOSE:To monitor quantitatively a service state, by monitoring a transmitted radio wave, collating the monitored signal with the signal transmitted immediately before monitoring and delivering the error information to a monitoring device when dissidence is obtained from the above-mentioned collation. CONSTITUTION:A monitoring receiver 6 monitors the radio wave which is actually transmitted from a transmitter 4 and then transmits the radio wave to a paging signal transmission controller 3. The controller 3 collates the data to which the transmission has just been indicated with monitoring data. If no coincidence is obtained from the collation, this result of collation is transmitted to a monitoring device 7. Then the device 7 counts the number of errors and performs a level analysis for the grave faults, the ordinary faults, the attention needed, etc. to deliver an alarm. At the same time, the device 7 prints out the fault level, the fault data and the time and data when the fault is generated through a printer 8. Thus it is possible to monitor quantitatively the service state without requiring an artificial test.

Conventionally, in paging services, the transmitter simply transmits the address code of the called pager (pager) from the call requester, so it is difficult to ensure that the address code is correct and appropriate. It was necessary to wait for complaints in the event of a defect or periodic maintenance tests to determine whether or not the transmission characteristics were met.

The present invention eliminates these drawbacks of the conventional ones, actually monitors the transmitted radio waves, compares the monitored transmitted data with the data sent just before, and when a discrepancy occurs, the error information is transmitted to the monitoring device. The paging signal is monitored qualitatively by outputting the signal to the paging signal.

Here, the monitor receiver 6 monitors the radio waves actually transmitted from the transmitter 4 and transmits them to the paging signal transmission control device 3. The control device 3 compares the data that has just been instructed to be transmitted with this monitor data. The control device 3 notifies the monitoring device 7 if there is a discrepancy as a result of the comparison. The monitoring device 7 measures the amount of error and determines whether it is a major fault/normal fault/l.
! Analyzes the level of caution, etc. and issues a warning. At the same time, the monitoring device 7 causes the printer 8 to print out the fault level, fault data, and date and time of occurrence.

FIG. 3 shows the paging signal transmission control device 3 in FIG.
0 is a functional block diagram. In the figure, 21 is a data buffer that temporarily stores data sent from the paging transmitter group control device 2 shown in FIG. 2 onto the data communication path 24. Reference numeral 22 denotes a transmission control device, which instructs the transmitter to output when there is human power in the data buffer 21, extracts paging call signals that are sequentially input to the data buffer 21, and outputs them to the transmitter. Reference numeral 23 is a collation circuit that sequentially collates the monitor data sent to the information path 27 from the monitor receiver 6 shown in FIG. For example, it is output to the information path 25 connected to the monitoring device 7 shown in FIG.
