Abstract

PURPOSE:To cut off the undesired load within an adaptor and to improve the operability when a tape is driven, by connecting an intermediate rotary member to a take-up reel via a revolving mechanism and having non-connection between the intermediate rotary member and a rotary member in the modes excepting a rewind mode. CONSTITUTION:The operating force of an operation knob 8 of a miniature tape cassette adaptor 1 is transmitted to take-up reels 25 and 26 of a miniature tape cassette 23. Thus transmission gears 9-13 set a tape 27 back to a position within a cassette from a position inside the adaptor 1. Then the engagement with an intermediate gear 12 is released when other gears connected to the gear 12 connected to a driving reel shaft of a recording/reproducing device. As a result, the gears outside a transmission line formed between the gear 12 and the driving reel shaft have no revolution when the tape 27 is driven by driving the driving reel shaft at a video recording/reproducing speed. Thus no driving load is produced for the driving reel shaft.

Subsequently, the operating knob 8 is manually rotated clockwise in FIG. 1, that is, in the direction of the arrow, over a total angular range of 210 degrees, for example. Then, the gear 9 rotates as a unit, as shown in Fig. 4.
The cam pin 9a and the pins 45, 46 of the special chain 44 travel while being guided by the guide groove 15a. Therefore,
The loading arm 5 is connected to the third
Rotate clockwise from the diagram to the loading position shown in Figure 4. At this time, when the cam pin 9a in FIG. 4 rotates the last 15 degrees of the 210 degree rotation, the rotation lever 47
The rounding and rotating lever 47 contacts the inclined cam portion 47b of the disk and is sequentially suppressed and displaced, and the rotating lever 47 rotates slightly counterclockwise against the torsion spring 49, causing the large-diameter gear llb to escape from the disk gear 12a and be displaced. Release the mesh. Rotating lever 47
is biased clockwise by the torsion spring 49 in the state shown in FIG. 4, but the operating knob 8 is locked by a ball (both not shown) being press-fitted into its engagement groove. , is held in the position shown in the figure.

Simultaneously with the clockwise rotation of the arm 5, the arm 6 also rotates counterclockwise via a link and a gear train (both not shown) to reach the position shown by the dashed line in FIG. As a result, the tape 27 in FIG. 1 is pulled out from its position in the small tape cassette by the ball 3.4, forming the tape path 32 on the front surface 111 of the standard tape cassette at the end. During this period, the small diameter gear 10a meshing with the gear 9 is also rotating counterclockwise in FIGS. 1 and 3, but the large diameter gear 10b does not rotate due to the action of the one-way pawl clutch, so The rotational force from the operation knob 9 is not transmitted, and the tape 27 simply rotates freely as the tape 27 is pulled out.

Next, after storing the adapter 1 in the cassette housing of the recording/reproducing device, the cassette housing is pushed down. Then, the adapter l moves downward, and as shown in FIG. 2, the fitting portion 12b of the intermediate gear 12 and the fitting portion 26a of the reel 26 are fitted to the pair of reel shafts 33 and 34 of the recording/reproducing device, respectively, so that they can rotate together. be done.

The disc gear 12a, gears 13a, 13b, and reel gear 25a are sequentially activated to rotate the reel 25 clockwise, and the tape 27 is run in the direction of arrow A in FIG. 1 to perform the recording or reproduction described above.

At this time, the gear shaft 11 is displaced from the intermediate gear 12 and the gears llb, 1';a are disengaged, and the unnecessary load for rotating the gear shaft 11 and the gear 10b is removed. Also, when rewinding the tape, the reel shaft 34 (reel 26) on the left side in FIG. 2 is driven to rotate counterclockwise.
The tape 27 is run at high speed in the direction of arrow B in FIG. Also at this time, the meshing of gears llb and 12a is released.

Next, a description will be given of how to remove the small tape cassette 23 after taking out the adapter 1 from the cassette housing. First, rotate the operation knob 8 counterclockwise to return it to the position shown in two-dot chain line in FIG. Then, the arm 5 returns to the unloading position shown by the solid line from the position shown by the chain double-dashed line in the same figure via the special chain 44, and the arm 6 similarly returns to the position shown by the solid line. During this period, when the operating knob 8 returns to the counterclockwise rotation by 15 degrees, the cam bin 9a is moved to the inclined cam portion 47b of the rotating lever 47.
Since the rotating lever 47 is rotated clockwise again by the torsion 9 spring 49, the large diameter gear Ilb is returned to be pressed into contact with the disc gear 12B.

As described above, according to the small tape cassette adapter of the present invention, the transmission gear train transmits the operating force of the operating knob to the take-up reel of the small tape cassette and pulls the tape back from the position inside the adapter to the position inside the cassette. Of these, the other gears that mesh with the intermediate gear that is coupled to the drive reel shaft of the recording/reproducing device are configured to disengage from the intermediate gear when the gear is coupled, so that the drive reel shaft is not driven. When the tape is run at a recording or playback speed, etc., the gears other than the intermediate gear and the transmission line between the drive reel shafts in the transmission gear train do not rotate and do not become a load for driving the drive reel shaft. . Therefore, the driving reel shaft has the advantage of being able to operate smoothly with a light load and improving operability.
