The outline of such conventional technology is that a certain amount of an object to be packed is compressed by upper and lower pressing bodies, and a packaging material consisting of an upper sheet and a lower sheet is placed above and below the compression-molded object to be packed.
These upper and lower packaging materials are bent to match the external shape of the compression-molded object at the front, back, left and right sides of the object to be packed.
This method is followed by wrapping a band around its outer circumference.

However, when banding is carried out in this way, the object to be packed that has been compression-molded with the band will be further rolled up when banding, so naturally the external dimensions of the object to be packed will become even smaller. The packaging material, which has been bent to match the external shape of the object to be packed that has been compression-molded, bends over the front and rear end surfaces of the object to accommodate changes in the height of the object, as shown in Figure 3. This has the disadvantage that the outer appearance is significantly deteriorated due to the protruding parts, and foreign matter can enter the packaged items through the gaps created in the protruding parts, thereby destroying the effectiveness of the packaging.

When the front and back surfaces of the packaged item are not covered with packaging material,
In other words, the packaging material is not bent so as to come into contact with the front and rear surfaces of the item to be packaged, but is kept in a cylindrical state with its front and back sides unbent, and then banding is performed first, and then the top, bottom, left and right sides, or body part, are tied together. At least the front and rear surfaces of the object covered with packaging material and strapped with a band are compressed from above and below to make the bands loose on both sides of the object. Fold the protruding parts of the package to fit the front and rear sides of the packaged item, and bend the parts of the front and rear sides of the packaged item that protrude from the sides of the packaged item to the sides. ’/F and the packaging material covering the sides of the object to be packed, and then release the compression from the top of the object to be packed, the object to be packed will return to its original state due to its elasticity. The present invention was completed by discovering that it is possible to finish the packaging so that the front and back sides are beautiful and have no gaps, with no protruding packaging material.

First, as in the prior art, a packing material 1 in which a certain amount of packing material is compression-molded is prepared, and a packaging material 2 made of a sheet-like material is placed above and below the packing material 1. 2 is bent so as to cover both sides of the object 1 to be packed, and then the object 1 to be packed is tied with a band 6 from above the packaging material 2 as shown in FIG. 4(A). Next, at least the front and rear parts of the article 1 to be packed, whose trunk is covered with the packaging material 2 and further wrapped around the trunk with a band 6, are moved vertically by the suppressor 4 as shown in FIG. Compress as shown. It is preferable that the pressing surface of the pressing body 4 has an arcuate shape so that the band 3 is not unduly deformed. In this manner, the packaging material 2 on both sides of the object to be packaged 10 is pressed by the sagging prevention device 5 while the compression body 4 is compressing the material as shown in FIG.
As shown in c), an upper packaging material 2 that prevents the packaging material 2 from sagging and protrudes forward from the front surface of the object 1 to be packed, and an upper packaging material 2 that projects rearward from the rear surface of the object 1 to be packed.
upwardly at the center of its protrusion by the lifting tool 6
As shown in Figure (D), the upper packaging material 2 is lifted so that it does not get in the way of the bending of the lower packaging material 2, and the lower packaging material 2 protruding from the front and rear surfaces of the object to be packed 1 is removed as shown in Figure 4. As shown in (E), the lower bending part 7 is bent so as to contact the front and rear surfaces of the object to be packed 1, and in this state, lifting of the upper packaging material 2 by the lifting tool 6 is released, and the object to be packed is bent. The upper packaging material 2 protruding from the front and rear surfaces of the object 1 is bent by the upper bending tool 8 so as to come into contact with the front and rear surfaces of the object 1, as shown in FIG. The packaging material 2, which protrudes forward from the front surface and rearward from the rear surface of the object to be packed 1, covers the front and rear surfaces of the object to be packed 1, respectively, by the bent lower and upper bending tools 7 and 8. However, the portions that did not come into contact with the front and rear surfaces of the object to be packed 1 protrude further laterally from the side surfaces of the object to be packed 1 in a triangular shape on the front and rear surfaces of the object to be packed 1. Therefore, as shown in FIG. The partitioning tool 10 is brought into contact with the end of the side surface, and the suppression of the packaging material 2 on both sides of the object to be packed 10 by the anti-sag tool 5 is released, and then the object to be packed 1 is removed as shown in FIG. Items to be packaged 1 on the front and rear sides of
A packaging material 2 that protrudes further laterally in a triangular shape than the side surface of the packaging material 2.
The outer surface Krr3 of the partition tool 10 is bent by the bending insertion tool 9 to the side surface of the object to be packed 1, and the packaging material 2 covering the side surface of the object to be packed 1 and the band 6 located on the outer surface thereof. Insert between. When the folding and insertion of the packaging material 2 by the folding insertion tool 9 is completed, the lower and upper folding tools 7 and 8
The bending insertion tool 9 and the partitioning tool 10 are removed from the object to be packed 1, and then the ends of the folded and inserted packaging materials 2 are held together with the holder 11 as shown in FIG. The packaging material 2 is held pressed to the side so that the folded and inserted packaging material 2 does not move to the front side or the rear side of the item to be packed 1,
When the pressure of the suppressor 4 pressing the object 1 to be packed from above and below is released, and then the holding by the holder 11 is released, the object 1 to be packed returns to a state close to the state in which it was initially banded due to its elasticity. Therefore, the packaging material 2 which is bent and inserted between the packaging material 2 covering the side surface of the object to be packed 1 and the band 6 on its outer periphery covers the band 3 and the side surface of the object to be packed 1. It is firmly held between the packaging material 2 and compression packaging is completed as shown in FIG. 4 (N).

The compression packaging method according to the present invention as described in detail above does not cover the entire surface of the object to be packed, including the front and rear surfaces, with a packaging material and then wrap it with a band, as in the conventional compression packaging method. Only the body of the packaged item is covered with the packaging material, and then the body is tied with a band, and then at least the front and rear parts of the packaged item are compressed in the vertical direction to adjust its height with the band. In this state, cover the front surface of the object with packaging material that protrudes forward from the front surface of the object, and also protrudes rearward from the rear surface of the object. Cover the rear surface of the object with the packaging material that covers the front and rear surfaces of the object, and insert the remaining packaging material between the band and the packaging material that covers the sides of the object. Then, in that state, at least the front and rear parts of the object to be packed are released from being compressed in the vertical direction, and the object to be packed is applied with a force that attempts to restore the state before being compressed in the vertical direction due to its elasticity. This is a method to securely hold the packaging material, and as a result, the packaging material is
