Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide the titled dispersant containing a dehydration condensate of dimer acid, polyethylene glycol and polyhydric alcohol and exhibiting good storage stability for a long period and excellent fluidity. CONSTITUTION:The dispersant consists of a dehydration condensate obtained by dehydrating 1mol of dimer acid, 0.4-1.6mol of polyethylene glycol with a molecular weight of 100-3000 and 0.05-0.15mol of polyhydric alcohol (e.g. pentaerythritol) at 180-260 deg.C. The dispersant is added in an amount of 0.01-5wt% to a mixed fuel prepared by mixing coal crushed in fine powder which has an average particle diameter of 200 mesh or smaller and shows 70% passage through a 200-mesh sieve, with a high boiling fuel oil (e.g. heavy oil) in the blend ratio of 1:0.3-9.

Although coal is cheap, it is solid and has the disadvantage of being difficult to transport and burn. For this reason, in recent years, it has been possible to overcome these problems by pulverizing it, mixing it with liquid fuel such as petroleum, and burning it.

In this specification, dimer acid refers to thermal polymerization of unsaturated fatty acids obtained by hydrolyzing drying oils, semi-drying oils, etc. (The main component is a dibasic acid made by polymerizing Kanobakeshi, BP, 3fi, etc.), and in many cases contains small monomers and trimers as impurities. It is an industrial chemical.

The condensate of the present invention is produced by heating a mixture of dimer acid and the above alcohol at a temperature of 180 to 260°C, similar to a general esterification reaction.
Obtained by heating and dehydrating. The mole of polyethylene glycol used per 1 mole of dimer acid is 14 to 1.6 moles, and 0.6 to 1.2 moles of polyethylene glycol. is selected so as not to accelerate the gel properties. For example, in the case of pen query slit, 0.05 to 0.15 mol may be appropriate. However, without using the multi-subalternative al'Iff-rule at all, the effect of fr-IM t&, f) revision is remarkable (, 7, 4 down, right).

The amount of dispersant added is 0.01 to 5 weight percent, preferably 0.05 to 1 weight percent, based on the total amount of lime and oil. If more than 5% by weight is used, the dispersibility may be impaired. In addition, if less than 10% water is mixed into the apricot mixture, the dispersibility will be significantly improved.
