In general, leafing type epoxy resin paints containing aluminum pigments have been used in a wide variety of applications, including steel towers, bridges, tanks, and vehicles. However, with conventional leafing-type epoxy resin paints containing aluminum pigments, it is not always possible to obtain a coating film with satisfactory leafing properties, and therefore a coating film with an aluminum feel is often not obtained, and the weather resistance is also poor. It was something. Also, since it is a resin paint, special care must be taken in treating the metal base, and a high degree of base treatment is usually required, such as by sandblasting or other sillast treatment.

In view of the above-mentioned current situation, the present invention is a leafing-type aluminum pigment-containing paint that improves the adhesion properties of aluminum pigments, can be coated on a wide range of metal-based treated charcoal objects, and is also capable of serving as both an undercoat and a topcoat. The object of the present invention is to provide a 4xy resin coating composition.

Conventionally, three-component paints consisting of a base component, a curing agent component, and an aluminum paste component have been used, but the paint composition of the present invention blends tri-7-enyl phosphite or its derivatives. The aluminum paste component can be mixed with the components in advance and stored, and the form of the a-molding paint is also possible, resulting in good painting workability. Furthermore, the resulting coating film has good leafing properties, and a layer of aluminum flakes is formed on the coating surface, resulting in a coating film with good appearance, weather resistance, and rust prevention.

Furthermore, as described above, since the paint according to the present invention has the functions of both an undercoat and a topcoat, it can be used as both an undercoat and a topcoat in one application, and the painting process can be shortened.

As the I-oxy resin, ordinary I-oxy resin for paints can be used. For example, bisphenol A type epoxy resin and bisphenol F type edoxy resin can be used. In particular, bisphenol F type epoxy resin has a low viscosity, so the amount of solvent in the paint can be reduced accordingly, making it possible to create a high non-volatile paint, allowing for thick film coating, and also improving the leafing properties of aluminum pigments, making it ideal. Commercially available bisphenol F-type Nixy resins include Epicron φza 30C (manufactured by Dainippon Ink & Chemicals), Ko/Mic*-/
There are lIO (manufactured by Mitsui Petrochemical Industries, Ltd.), etc.

As the curing agent, the usual curing agents for epoxy resins mentioned above can be used. For example, aliphatic tetraamines such as diethylenetriamine and triethylenetetraamine, aromatic triamines such as metaphenylenediamine and diaminodiphenylmethane, and polyamide resins can be used.

As the leafing type aluminum pigment, those commonly used in this type of paint can be used, but yeast-like pigments whose surface has been treated with stearic acid or the like are particularly preferred. For example, Altop (manufactured by Tokai Metals Co., Ltd.), Sap (manufactured by Showa Aluminum Co., Ltd.), Alpaste (manufactured by Toyo Aluminum Co., Ltd.), Eternazolite (
Commercially available products such as Silverline Co., Ltd.) and 5tapa (Asahi Kasei Kogyo Co., Ltd.) can be used.

In the present invention, by blending the above-mentioned triphenyl phosphite or its derivatives, the aluminum pigment can be made into a paint without losing its leafing properties even after long-term storage, and as required for conventional epoxy resin paints. A coating film with excellent adhesion can be obtained without the need for severe surface treatment.

Solvents that can be used appropriately in the present invention include toluene,
Nonpolar hydrocarbon solvents such as xylene, benzene, naphtha, etc. are suitable. Note that when using polar solvents such as ketone solvents, they may react with aluminum paste, triphenyl phosphite, or their derivatives.
For example, when these are mixed in advance with the base component and stored for a long period of time, the polar solvent needs to be mixed with the curing agent component.
