Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the deviation of a multiple-part form due to feeding by such an arranement wherein multiple parts of the form are caused to lightly stick together by printing a line or belt-like line in such lines of the form where print signals are not supplied to a thermal head and those parts sticked together are to be fed simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:Lines (l) are printed in lines 1c, 1c of a form where characters are not printed and belt-like lines L are printed in spaces 1d, 1d from a horizontal perforation 1b to a print start position. By the adhesive effect of carbon for transfer coated on the back of parts 1, 2, parts 1, 2 and parts 2, 3 are lightly sticked together, and as a result of this, all parts 1-3 are integrally fed through a printer.

Some thermal printers print several sheets of paper at the same time. Here, Figure 1 shows a case of #1a that is used in a thermal printer like this. In this figure, sheets 1 to 3 are the same and are stacked one on top of the other, and the :& sides of sheets 1 and 2 are coated with carbon or the like (transfer agent) for transfer. There are feed holes along the longitudinal direction at both ends of Intermediate 10.
Also, perforations 1b for cutting the paper are provided at predetermined intervals in the longitudinal direction. Also, paper 2
.. Similarly, the feed holes and perforations are on paper 1 for 3.
It is set up correspondingly. Figure 2 shows paper 1~ being printed.

It is now possible to do so. Further, the thermal head 6 is configured to be movable in the directions indicated by arrows C'j5), for example, by a head moving mechanism 10 as shown in FIG.

This head movement &'ll&&mIO is composed of a solenoid 11, a spring 12, etc., and when the solenoid 11 is energized, the thermal head 6 comes into pressure contact with the five platen rollers, that is, the sheets 1 to 3, and When the solenoid 11 is de-energized, the thermal head 6 is returned by the spring 12 and comes into non-pressure contact with the platen roller 5. By the way, in the state shown in FIG. 2, the paper 1 in direct contact with the thermal head 6, the paper 2 in direct contact with the platen row 25, and the paper 3 in direct contact with the platen row 25 are different in the pressure contact state and the wrinkles. The paper 3 in contact with the platen roller 5, which is the pivoting side, is fed first, causing misalignment in the conveyance of each paper 1 to 3. However, in conventional thermal printers, misalignment in conveyance occurs. Even if the thermal head 6 is in pressure contact with the sheets 1 to 3, it continues to be conveyed in one direction, so the amount of misalignment increases further, causing wrinkles on the sheets 2 and 3, which can eventually lead to printing defects and problems between the thermal head 6 and the platen. There was a problem with Kamizumaka acting as a teacher in the darkness with Laura 5.

In view of the above-mentioned circumstances, the present invention provides a method for preventing misalignment of paper conveyance in a thermal printer. This is a method in which the paper is printed and then made into an adhesive form using the adhesive effect of transfer carbon or the like.

In this figure, lc and lc are lines on which no characters (or inscriptions) are printed, and 1d and 1d are pages (perforation 1b,
1 b IM] ) is the blank area from the beginning of the print position to the print start position. A line 1 is printed in the row IC1IC, and a band-shaped line L is printed in the blank area 1d. Like this line i! - When printing i or L, the adhesive effect of the transfer carbon applied to the rough surface of paper 1.2 causes the paper to be printed on this part. AI and 2 and papers 2 and 3 become the tangent axes (Fig. 1, #2 #A)
. As a result, since the l+4 sheets 1 to 3 are conveyed as one, there is no shift in the conveyance of the sheets 1 to 3.

FIGS. 5(a) to 5(a) are timing charts for explaining an example of the timing of "intsumugi" on line 1 in this legend. In this figure, (a) is the mark 414 operation starting Nobuyoshi, (b) is the printing operation end signal, and (c) is the mark part 1.
j) The supply timing of the print signal (for example, dot data, ASCII code data, etc.) supplied from the external generator during operation is determined by the operation M1'Fi of the pulse motor that is the driving source of the song feed for 1 to 3 sheets of paper. ] are shown respectively. (e) shows the printing timing of the thermal head, and as is well known, the thermal head prints ν1 line by line at the timing shown in this figure. (f) indicates no print data signal, which will be explained below. Generally, thermal printers are manufactured outside FA.
The print signal such as ASCII code supplied from the device is temporarily stored in the buffer memory for one line, and after fc, the print data (dot data) to be supplied to the thermal head is poured based on the data in this backup memory. However, the above-mentioned print data is outputted to the printer when no data is stored in this buffer memory, that is, when no printing is performed on that line. (g) shows a line print signal that is output when a no print data signal is output and the thermal head is in a printing operation (see (e) in the figure). When this line printing signal is supplied, the thermal head prints line 1 shown in FIG. 4.

Note that printing of the line L in this smile example may be performed, for example, between the front edge (perforation line 1b) detection signal of the page and the print start position detection signal of that page. It is well known that the front pain detection signal and print start position detection signal are generated in a general thermal printer.

As explained above, according to the present invention, since a spider or band-like line is printed between lines where a print signal is not supplied to the thermal head, multiple sheets of paper are connected to each other by the adhesive effect of transfer carbon, etc. Since the sheets are fed all at once in the form of a paper sheet, there is no paper conveyance misalignment, and printing defects due to paper jams can be prevented.

In a thermal printer that transports several sheets of paper with a transfer agent attached to the front surface and simultaneously prints on the several sheets of paper, line spacing in which print data is not supplied to the thermal head of the thermal printer. In the above-mentioned method for preventing sheet conveyance deviation in a thermal printer, the method is to use a woodcutter or a band-like line metal stamp.
