Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the abnormal abrasion of a rolling roll in a rolling method of a strip which is cut in the transverse end parts by rolling the strip while removing burrs and sharp angles in the end parts produced by the cutting. CONSTITUTION:A metallic strip 1 is coiled and is worked in the end parts thereof with polishing rolls 3 provided right before the rolling mill of a rolling line or right after the cutter for the transverse end parts. If such strip 1 is rolled with a rolling mill consisting of work rolls 2 and backup rolls 4, the rolls 2 are kept free from scratching by the cut surfaces in the end parts having burrs and sharp angles. The end parts contact smoothly with the rolls 2 and are supplied satisfactorily with lubricating oil; therefore, the rolls 2 have no edge marks.

The wear profile of the L eel roll shown in Figure 1 cannot be compensated for even if one stage of Haisu JI is used. The shape is round. Generally, rolling rolls have an IJ diameter of 50 to 10 by polishing.
When the loaf 1 arrangement I- decreases by about 0 m, it becomes unusable and is discarded, so the roll cost occupies a large proportion of the 1 f total cost. In particular, due to the rapid increase in product grain size in 2015, the roll grinding pitch has become shorter and shorter, which has become one of the major obstacles to reducing the cost of grinding. Regarding this part, I was very disappointed in the conclusion that K was in trouble and the only recourse was to prevent this outbreak. As a result of extensive research into the cause of abnormal wear occurring in the area shown in Figure 1 (■) from such qJ ease, we found that in cold rolling, the edge of the plate is
.. When rolling metal strips that have been cut off by IJ cutting, irregularities are particularly common, and the causes are 2. J
As shown in Figure 2, it was found that gaps caused by temporary cutting and pasting and gaps with sharp edges always scratch the roll. In other words, when the rolling roll comes into contact with the plate, it deforms according to the principle of an elastic bed (qa in Figure 3), and the temporary part bites into the work roll sharply.Secondly, the # part coefficient is reduced in a part of the plate. An oil film of the lubricating oil supplied for this purpose is also formed.Due to the synergistic effect of these factors, the edge of the plate scratches the roll and accelerates wear. Based on these facts, one purpose of the present invention is to improve the plate end i1b...
To provide a technique 4pj for preventing abnormal wear of rolls by removing rips and sharp corners. The present invention shown in FIG. 4 will now be described. In Figure 4, ■ is a metal strip. ■ is an abrasive roll (corrosion work roll). Since the curved metal strip is a coil, it is difficult to press the edge of the plate outside the rolling line. This impedes the productivity of rolled products. For this reason, it is most effective to install it immediately before the plate yIM pressing machine or immediately after the 9J cutting machine. The temporary ft1t grinding method is the fifth Push the two polishing rolls shown in the figure with θ11
An abrasive roll provided with a grinding wheel, a grinding wheel, or a notched groove may be pressed against the plate. By using this method, the edge of the board is rolled and smooth (ζ′:
As a result, lubricating oil is well supplied and no abnormal wear occurs on the rolls. It was a cabinet. When rolling with high tension applied to the IJ knob to reduce the rolling width, fractures often occur from the edge of the plate due to uneven tension inside the plate. It is thought that the cause of this is that the edges and sharp corners of the board act as notches and become starting points for cracks.1 By implementing the present invention, the board can be prevented from failing and the product yield can be improved. . As described above, the present invention has the advantage of preventing abnormal wear of the rolls near the 1M section 11. First, the wear profile of the rolls becomes smoother, and the direction of the warping of the product on the board becomes more efficient. Of course, the grinding pitch of the rolls had become shorter due to abnormal wear. Reduce roll costs by extending the life of the roll until it is disposed of, and improve product yield by preventing plate breakage.
L becomes 口] Noh, and the benefits are immeasurable.
