DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a golf club equipped with a rotatable grip.

Golf clubs that are commonly made consist of a ball-striking head mounted on a shaft and a grip located on the top or end of the shaft opposite the head.

Golf clubs such as those described above do not properly align the head face of the club to match the golfer's stroke to eliminate slices or hooks.

One object of this invention is to disclose a rotatable and adjustable one-piece grip on the shaft of a golf club.

U.S. Pat. No. 2.87'6.010 describes a golf club with a grip that is adjustable to selected positions and whose grooves and tongues are permanently sealed. Therefore, this patent is different from this invention.

U.S. Pat. No. 5,806,150 is directed to a golf club grip training aid.

This is simply a sleeve with a recess or notch for the thumb of the rear hand. This sleeve is just a teaching aid to improve your grip.

US Patent No. 3.83 kl, 7111 concerns a practice golf club in which the grip is laterally divided into two parts. The upper half is fixedly mounted on the shaft and the lower half is freely rotatable.

U.S. Pat. No. 11.2014.532 relates to a golf aid that includes a manually movable pointer,

U.S. Pat. No. 2,091,512 consists of a two-piece grip and lock nut without a compression spring to engage the teeth.

US Patent No. 2. II! No. 82,055 only involves mounting a golf club head whose pitch is adjustable, and has nothing to do with golf club heads. This is not relevant to the present invention.

U.S. Pat. No. 2,0114,567 includes variable spring compression and movement of the club head in response to centrifugal action as the club swings to strike the pole.

U.S. Pat. No. 5,205,697 relates to a tennis racket handle having a racquet nol/dollar up support. The nozzle is held firmly after appropriate adjustment.

US Pat. No. 1+, 10L 125 relates to an adjustable tennis racket. This patent does not include a toothing for the grip, and in this patent the handle grip must be disassembled to reset rotation.

US Patent No. L556,1473 relates primarily to a grip handle for a cork club, the invention of which is based on a row of recesses for a finger device. Therefore, this is not relevant to the present invention.

U.S. Pat. No. 2,200,626 relates to a bead drag that covers only the area that normally engages a golfer's upper hand and has no similarities to the present invention.

U.S. Pat. No. 2,712,765 is directed to a rotary wrist motion hand tool. This patent does not involve spring-based collar engagement, but instead relies on a spring to compress the forward thrust of the gripping member, and the teeth engage to lock the shaft against rotation of the gripping member. This is the opposite of the present invention, in which the compression spring engages the toothed portion. In this patent, the spring is adapted to separate the toothed portions.

The invention will become more apparent from the following description of embodiments taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

Referring to FIG. 1, shaft 1. Fixed collar 2 mounted on the shaft, rotatable one-piece grip 9.

A fixed toothed collar 8 is mounted on the shaft end cap 10, which is secured onto the end of the shaft 1 with suitable screws 12. An index 11 is provided to indicate the setting or amount of rotation of the grip.

The toothed collar 7 mounted on the rotatable grip 9 and the fixed toothed collar 8 can be referred to as toothed parts or toothed parts, and these toothed parts 7,8 are held in position by the spring 4. The engagement holds the grip in a non-rotatable or rigid position.

In order to use the invention for its intended purpose, the shaft 1
is held in one hand, and the grip 9 is held in the other hand. One hand pushes the grip 9 towards the other hand on the shaft 1, which compresses the spring 4, separates the interlocking toothed collars 7 and 8, and causes the grip to hook or slice according to the modification. It can be rotated in either direction. When the grip on the shaft 1 is released, the spring 4 exerts a force on the rotatable grip 9 by pushing against the fixed collar 2 and the inner shoulder 15 of the rotatable one-piece grip 9, causing the toothed collars 7 and 8 to move to the index mark. 11, engage at the folding position to be indicated. Since the hand holds the grip in the same position each time the club is used, hooking or slicing involves rotating the grip 9 in a corrected direction and then hitting the golf pole straight along the fairway or hitting the green. Corrections can be made by locking the grip in the appropriate index position.
