Abstract

PURPOSE:To input an external character with high operation efficiency and less malfunction, by providing a character display device with a registration part for an external character code and a code converting part to convert a keyed code into the external character code. CONSTITUTION:At the input of external characters, keys 7-1, 7-2 on a keying device 6 are combined to decide keys to output a registration signal and a registration releasing signal.
