Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent spurious radiation of a radio receiver with simple constitution, by inserting a prallel resonance circuit to an antenna circuit. CONSTITUTION:A broadcast signal incoming from an antenna 1 is applied to an antenna input circuit 2 via the parallel resonance circuit 6 and further inputted to a high-frequency amplifier circuit 3. A frequency mixing circuit 4 mixes an output of the high-frequency amplifier circuit 3 and an output of a local oscillating circuit 5, generates an intermediate frequency signal of a prescribed frequency and outputs the signal to an intermediate frequency amplifier (not shown) at a post-stage. The parallel resonance circuit 6 connected to the antenna circuit consists of an inductance L3, a varactor diode D1, and a capacitor C1, is controlled simultaneously with the local oscillating circuit 5 and controlled to a resonance frequency coincident with the local oscillating frequency. Then, the resonance circuit 6 prevents a signal of the local oscillating circuit 5 from being irradiated spuriously from the antenna 1 via the amplifier 3 and the antenna circuit 2.

A general NINUPA heterotine radio receiver is equipped with a local oscillation circuit, and its output is often unnecessarily radiated via the antenna. Therefore, various measures have been taken to prevent this type of unnecessary radiation, but all of these measures have very complicated structures and are not very effective.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS The radio receiver of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings of one embodiment. The figure is a schematic electrical connection diagram of one embodiment of the radio receiver of the present invention, and in the figure, 1 is an antenna, 2 is a coil/l/Ll, L2, and a capacitor 01,0.
2 is an antenna input circuit, 3 is a high frequency amplification circuit, and 4 is an antenna input circuit.
is a frequency mixing circuit, and 6 is a local oscillation circuit. and,
Reference numeral 6 denotes a parallel Ji:oscillation circuit consisting of a coil L5, a capacitor 05, and a variable capacitance diode D1 connected between the antenna 1 and the antenna input circuit 2. The variable capacitance diode D1 is connected to the local oscillation circuit 5 via a resistor R1. A DC voltage is applied to the variable capacitance diode D2 which determines the oscillation frequency. That is, the local oscillation circuit 5 is configured such that the oscillation frequency is determined by the coil L4 and the variable capacitance diode D2, and the DC voltage applied thereto via the resistor R2 is simultaneously applied to the resistor R.

In the embodiment described above, the signal received by the antenna 1 is applied to the high frequency amplifier circuit 3 via the parallel resonant circuit 6 and the antenna input circuit 2, where it is amplified and then applied to the frequency mixing circuit 4. Since the output of the local oscillation circuit 6 is simultaneously applied to the frequency mixing circuit 4, an intermediate frequency signal is outputted to its output terminal.

By the way, in this case, a part of the output of the local oscillation circuit 6 may be transmitted to the antenna side via the amplifier circuit 3 and the antenna input circuit 2. However, according to the above embodiment, since the parallel resonant circuit 6 is inserted, the output of the local oscillation circuit 6 reaching the antenna 1 is blocked here, and unnecessary radiation from the antenna 1 is extremely reduced.

In particular, according to the above embodiment, the resonant frequency of the parallel resonant circuit follows the oscillation frequency of the local oscillation circuit and is always the same, so it presents the maximum impedance to the oscillation output of the local oscillation circuit. Therefore, unnecessary radiation from the antenna can be completely blocked. This state is maintained no matter how the receiving frequency is changed and the oscillation frequency of the local oscillation circuit is changed.
Therefore, it is extremely advantageous in practice.
