Abstract

PURPOSE:To stabilize a fence for the sheathing of slope by a method in which a large number of short fences having a rigidity are set at equal intervals orthogonally between flexible long belt-like members erected in parallel in two rows or more in the widthwise direction. CONSTITUTION:Three clips 2 to be attached with ropes are provided on both ends of short fences 1 of a water-resistant rigid plastic, and a large number of water-passing holes 3 and ribs 4 to increase the rigidity are also provided. Also, flexible long belt-like members 5 of a synthetic fiber (e.g., nylon) having a high tensile strength are formed in two or more numbers. The members 5 are erected in parallel in the widthwise direction and the short fences 1 are erected at equal intervals orthogonally in the widthwise direction between the members 5. The members 5 are then laid in the vertical direction of a slope and the short fences 1 are laid in the crosswise direction, and the upper ends and ways of the members 5 are fixed to the slope by anchor pins (not illustrated). By this, the storage and delivery of these fences are made easier and the construction work is made possible for a wider areas at a time.

As an earth-retaining fence, one in which strip-shaped bridges are connected in parallel with connecting cables is already known. (Patent Application No. 57-55822) The disadvantages of this bridge are: ■, -゛ -ii) It does not prevent the movement of the soil in the lateral direction, and ■ The bridge rotates around the point where it is supported by the connecting cables. Therefore, the fence is somewhat unstable. The present invention aims to improve these drawbacks. Embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings.

As shown in FIG. 1, a large number of rectangular strips fil are formed. The strips are made of rigid and water-resistant materials such as metal and hard plastic. Among them, water permeability is rare, so wire mesh, expanded metal, perforated steel plate, plastic net, single-hole plastic plate, etc. are suitable.

On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 2, two or more long strips 151 made of rope net are formed. rope net is knife
A synthetic fiber with high tensile strength and flexibility such as vinylon-polyethylene is suitable, but a wire loop may also be used. In the case of a long strip-shaped body, it is desirable that it has flexibility and tensile strength that is approximately the same as that of the body.

In Figures 3 and 4, long strips are erected in the width direction and arranged in parallel, and strips are also erected in the width direction and attached at approximately equal intervals so as to be perpendicular to the strips. The formed earth retaining joint (6+) is shown in Fig. 3, and Fig. 4 shows an example in which the strips are attached in a row horizontally, and Fig. 4 shows an example in which they are attached alternately. Although this method is not limited to this method, it is also possible to use 9 fasteners or tie them together. The spacing between the strips is usually 30 to 100oI.
The size of the entire column is generally 2 to 20 m on a side.
