Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent damage of a coil and a peripheral mechanism, by providing a small roll group and a supporting part for supporting this group on a coil for winding a rolling steel sheet, so that spring-up of the tail end of a coil can be prevented. CONSTITUTION:A titled winder consists of a wrapper roll 4, an apron 6 for supporting the roll 4, a freely rotatable roll group 7, and a supporting part 8 which supports this roll group 7 and is installed to the apron 6. Said roll 4 presses a coil 1, etc. fed by a pinch roll 3 against a mandrel 2 side in order to wind them around the mandrel 2. Also, the roll group 7 is movable independently of the roll 4 and the apron 6, and presses the tail end of the coil 1, etc. separately from the roll. According to said coiler, the tail end of the coil does not spring up, therefore, damage of the coil 1 and the peripheral mechanism is prevented.

を十分押さえきれずにコイル尾端が跳ね上がりコイルが
傷ついたり周辺の機構をいためたりする欠点があった。

等により実施される。コイル1の尾端位置の追跡によっ
て小ロール群7の駆動時間と巻取完了の時間との関係で
最適なタイミングを与えることが出来る。
