Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to reduce the number of component parts, by a method wherein a type wheel for receipt printing is moved to conduct journal printing, and a selecting trigger electromagnet and the type wheel are used for both printing modes, in a printer for ECR. CONSTITUTION:The type wheels 9 waiting on the journal side are stopped when desired types at respective digit places are aligned, by the rotation of a type wheel driving shaft 11 in response to a printing command and functions of an electromagnet 13,a selecting lever 14 and a returning spring 15 of a selecting means 16. Then, the type wheels 9 are moved to a receipt printing position by moving means 17-22 while being inked by an inking roller 4, and a receipt printing recording paper 8 is pressed by a rotation of a receipt printing roller 6 effected by a driving member 7, thereby printing. ですみ、大幅なコストダウンが出来、より低価格でFi
ORプリンターを提供出来る。又活字輪9及び選択手段
16〜16が従来に比べ半分で済むことは、プリンター
の選択部分での信頼性が上ることや設計段階での試験等
の負荷が減少すること、組立での組立性が向、トするこ
と等の効果がある。又、従来、レシート用電磁石コイル
とジャーナル用電磁石コイルに同時通電を行うため、消
費電力が高いが、本発明によれば電ぼ石コイルが半分に
なるため電力消費が半分になるので、消費電力が大幅に
少くなる。
