  1. 送風機からボイラーへ通じる送風ダクトの内部を仕切部
    材で仕切って形成した熱交換室と、該交換室の内部にお
    いて送風機からの送風方向に対して垂直方向に貫通して
    設けた多数のパイプからな゛　　るパイプ群と、該パイ
    プ群の内部をボイラー側の人煙口から煙突側の排煙口に
    向かってボイラーからの燃焼ガスが通過するように前記
    パイプ群を連結する前記仕切部材に設けた複数の連結室
    からなる空気予熱器。
