Abstract

PURPOSE:To save electric power and to improve visibility to an operator, by cutting off or reducing electric power supply to a heater for a fixing roll when a request for copying is not presented within a specified time after the completion of copying operation, and displaying that on a display for the number of sheets. 信号を処理したり、演算し、その結果に基いて複写機の
各部を制御するマイコン2(信号入力用の入力インタフ
ェース21と、信号の処理演算に必要なプログラムを記
憶するRoM22と、処理演算結果中データ等を記憶す
るRAM23と、処理演算を実行するCPU24と、処
理演算に基した制御信号を出力する田カインタフェース
δを有する)と、スイッチ操作部1からマイコン2への
信号入力を可能にしまた、コピ一枚数表示部4(セット
枚数とカウント枚数を兼用表示する)および複写機状態
表示部5(例えば「コピーできます」あるいは「コピー
紙を補給くださb」等を表示する)の表示を制御する駆
動回路3a、 3b、 3c(マ、イコン2によって時
分割制御される)と、マイコン2の制御に基いて駆動さ
れ、コピ一枚数表示部4および複写機状態表示部5に前
記信号処理結果に基(表示を行わせる駆動回路6と、マ
イコン2が節電モードに入るように指令する節電指令信
号を出力したとき複写機用定着部Eの加熱ロール7のヒ
ータ8に供給する電力を遮断するか、ある込は低減する
