Claims (1)
央ボス部３がそれぞれ形成されるようにした多角形板状
のスローアウェイチップにおいて、前記チップブレーカ
溝２は、ノーズ付近の周縁部分を除いて、波形曲線の凹
凸が付加されることにより直線切刃稜６および波形切刃
稜７が形成され−るとともに、切刃稜６，７側からの下
りの斜面８に引続いて、平面的な底面９“および中央ボ
ス部３側への上り斜面１０が形成されており、また、中
央ボス部３は、ノーズ側で帯状に凸出するとともに、チ
ップブレーカ溝２の凹凸に合せて、その境界部分１３お
よび表面部分１２に波形をなす凹凸が形成されており、
全体的には、切刃稜６．７よりも上位に凸出しているこ
