Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate necessity for use of any water circulation device and thereby simplify the overall construction by pumping the river water at the upper flow of a hydraulic machine, sending it to a water tank furnished at a place with comparatively high level and by supplying the water in this tank to a bearing or shaft sealing water device by means of natural flowdown. CONSTITUTION:A vertical shaft Francis turbine turns an impeller 13 by introducing the river water 15 into the casing 14 through water pressure pipe etc. When the main bearing 11, which bears the spindle 10 with impeller 13 mounted at its lower part, is to be water lubricated, a water intake pipe 16 is connected at the upper flow line in communication to the casing 14, a pump 17 is provided in the middle of this water intake pipe 16, and thereby the river water 15 is suppled to a water tank 18, located above the location of the main bearing 11, through a strainer 19. The purified water in the tank 18 is introduced to the main bearing 11 through a service pipe 22 while waters overflowing from the main bearing 11 are drained through an exhaust pipe 24.

Recently, a system has been adopted that uses phenol resin or the like as a bearing member that supports the main shaft of a water turbine or the like to eliminate oil lubrication. In such a system, it is necessary to inject fresh water at a higher pressure than river water into the bearing in order to effectively lubricate with water and prevent available water containing earth and sand from entering the sliding parts of the bearing. be.

For this reason, conventionally, a structure as shown in FIG. 1 is used. That is, a water tank is installed at a position higher than the water level of the river water l, tap water is supplied to this tank, and water is supplied through the water supply pipe 3.
The above tap water is allowed to flow down by gravity and sent to the bearing dam, and the tap water flowing out from the bearing trough is sent to another water tank 4Kiji through a drain pipe j, and this water is repeatedly used using a circulation system. .

To use this method, there must always be a source of clean water nearby, such as tap water, and the lubricating water gets dirty over time because it is used repeatedly, so fresh water from the tank must be periodically supplied. It is necessary to supply As a result, a separate device must be provided to adjust the amount of water supplied, leading to problems such as the device itself becoming complicated.

The present invention was made in view of the above-mentioned problems, and its purpose is to extract water to be injected into the bearing or shaft sealing device of a hydraulic machine from river water, thereby reducing the installation location of the hydraulic machine. The present invention is not limited to the above, and provides a water lubrication device that can simplify the device itself.

In order to achieve such an object, the present invention provides a water tank at a position where water with a higher pressure than the river water that drives the shaft of a hydraulic machine can be supplied to the bearings, etc., and pumps river water into this water tank through a pump. The gist of this system is that a strainer is placed between the pump and the water tank to remove sediment, etc. from the river water.

From this strainer, the sand discharge pipe is directed downward.
When the strainer 19 is stretched out through a valvecoat and dirt or the like accumulates, the valvecoat is opened to discharge the dirt or the like. In addition, the above water tank /1 has a structure that allows fine sediment contained in the water to settle.

In the above, part of the river water flowing into the casing 14I by the pump is passed through the strainer l to the water tank l.
In this water tank /lVc, the fine earth and sand that has passed through the strainer /D is precipitated to make clean water, and this water is injected into the water supply pipe U<therefore, the bearing /l. At this time, the water level of the water tank/l is higher than the water level of the river water, so the pressure of the clean water supplied to the bearing/l is increased by the pressure of the impeller 1.
It is higher than the river water containing the sediment that causes the 3 to rotate. Therefore, river water does not enter the bearing //. After lubrication, the clean water is drained from the drain bit.

As is clear from the above description, according to the present invention, a part of the river water that rotates the impeller of a hydraulic machine, such as a water wheel, is pumped up by a pump installed upstream of the water wheel, and this river water is used to remove sediment. The water is sent through a strainer to a water tank located at a higher level than the river water level, and from this tank it is supplied to the bearing or shaft water sealing device via a water supply pipe, eliminating the need for a conventional circulation device. The device can be simplified, and clean lubricating water can always be supplied to the bearings and the like.

河川に水がある限り軸受に給水できるので安全性が高い
Additionally, in systems that use tap water, the installation locations for hydraulic machines are limited and there is a risk of water outages; however, according to the present invention,
As long as there is water in the river, water can be supplied to the bearings, making it highly safe.
