Abstract

PURPOSE:To inhibit the formation of scale in piping and equipment, by attaching the apparatus for the treatment of water having at least one couple of permanent magnets provided in a manner such that a pole of the coupled permanent magnet is existent in close vicinity to the same one of the other to a water-supply line. CONSTITUTION:The apparatus 10 for the magnetic treatment of water is provided together with a magnetic strainer 12 in main piping 18. The magnetic strainer 12 has a permanent magnet in it to remove magnetic substance contained in water, and its conjunct use with the apparatus 10 for the magnetic treatment of water can effectively prevent the formation of scale. Since the top ends of permanent magnets attached to fixtures 40 and 48, respectively, are provided to engage each other in the apparatus 10 for the magnetic treatment of water, the center lines of the two are shifted from each other so as to enable their attachment or detachment by the rotation of the fixtures 40, 48 for permanent magnets.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a magnetic water treatment device, and particularly to a magnetic water treatment device, which is particularly suitable for use when scale occurs in devices that use water, such as boilers, cooling devices, heat exchangers, evaporators, etc. relates to a magnetic water treatment device for the purpose of preventing rust.
1. In equipment that uses water, such as boilers, cooling equipment, heat exchangers, and evaporators, scale forms and accumulates on piping, valves, and the inner walls of the equipment as the equipment is used. This scale narrows the pipes and waterways within the equipment - if left untreated, this condition not only reduces the efficiency of the equipment, but can also lead to serious consequences such as damage to the equipment.

However, with this conventional method, in addition to the problem that scale cannot be completely removed, there is a major problem in that the chemicals damage the piping and equipment, shortening the life of the piping and equipment. Furthermore, the above-mentioned method that uses chemicals has the disadvantage that the operating efficiency of the equipment is reduced because it is necessary to stop operating the equipment during the scale removal period.

Incidentally, scale occurs when fine particles existing in water and solid components dissolved in water adhere to the inner surfaces of pipes, valves, boilers, and other equipment as they are, or crystallize and adhere to them. This is deposits that have grown over time. In particular, when water is heated, dissolved solid components tend to crystallize, so scale formation is noticeable in heat exchangers, boilers, etc.

FIG. 2 is a simplified sectional view of one embodiment of the magnetic water treatment device according to the present invention, and FIG. 3 is a schematic perspective view of a permanent magnet fixture and permanent magnets that constitute a part of the magnetic water treatment device 10. FIG. 4 is a diagram for explaining the arrangement of the permanent magnets in FIG. 2, and the one-dot chain 1 in FIG. 2! It is a figure seen from AA. Second
An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 30 and 32 (FIG. 2) are flanged water supply pipes (or/helps), and the magnetic water treatment device IO is attached to these water supply pipes 30 and 32 by suitable mounting members 33 such as bolts and nuts. The magnetic water treatment device IO is equipped with a permanent magnet mount 4 equipped with a permanent magnet 34, 38, 38.
0 and a permanent magnet fixture 48 to which permanent magnets 42, 44, and 46 are attached (see Fig. 3).
and 46 are not shown in FIG. 2 as they are located behind the permanent magnets 34 and 42, respectively (see FIG. 4).
In this embodiment, the tips of the permanent magnets attached to the permanent magnet fixtures 40 and 48 are designed to mesh with each other as shown in FIG. The center lines of the two are offset so that they can be removed. That is, as shown in FIG. 4, when the permanent magnet fixtures 40 and 48 are rotated, the permanent magnets 34,
The center line of each of the permanent magnets 42, 44, and 46 in the long sleeve direction rotates on a circle indicated by a dashed line 39, while the center line of each of the permanent magnets 42, 44, and 46 in the long sleeve direction rotates on a circle indicated by a dashed line 47. do. Therefore, there is no problem in mounting and removing the permanent magnet fixtures 40 and 48, and the polarity of the tips of the permanent magnets 34, 36, and 38 is the same as the polarity of the tips of the permanent magnets 42, 44, and 46, respectively. Although the south poles may be connected to each other, it is more preferable to connect the north poles to each other.

FIG. 5 is a diagram for explaining another embodiment of the present invention, and FIGS. 6A and 6B are diagrams showing Rn of the permanent magnet in FIG. 5. The difference between the embodiment shown in FIG. 5 and the embodiment shown in FIG. The tips of the magnets 42, 44, and 46 are arranged so as to face each other. Therefore, in this embodiment, unlike the embodiment shown in FIG. 2, the center lines of 40 and 48 coincide. Note that permanent magnets 38 and 46 are not shown in FIG. 5 because they are located behind 34 and 42, respectively (see FIGS. 6A and 6B). The effect of the embodiment of FIG. 5 is substantially the same as that of the embodiment of FIG.
