Claims

In a magnetic head configured such that the pole surface of the magnetic head becomes thinner as it goes away from the head gap, the head gap portion is formed by a first pole portion made of a laminate member of a metal magnetic material, and an end of the laminate portion. A magnetic head comprising: a second pole portion which is arranged planarly in a portion thereof and which becomes thinner as the distance from the first pole portion increases.
